"2 km off central shillong......this..."

2 km off central shillong......this is govt tourist lodge.....and perhaps best budget hotel in shillong.....low cost but very comfortable stay......i booked one 1st floor room at rs 1200.....the room is spacious......neat & clean......not offered great view,as such......but restaurant and quality of food was superb!

Best Experience: the room boy was colorful character......he always entered the room with a big smile....and whatever i ordered,he served within 30 mins which is rarely seen in govt run hotels...........the advantage of staying in hotel orchid is that you can book the local conducted tour from hotel itself.

Worst Experience: nil
