Nishat Hotel Reviews

A budget hotel ranging from Rs. 770 (in off season) & Rs. 1500 (in season). It is located in Fingask Estate which is about 2 kms from the station. The owners (Taneja\'s) are very courteous & help you in every way. They would also advise you on the Itineraries Shimla can offer & do you bookings to Manali. Its not a very big hotel. It has about 8-10 Rooms. The Valley view rooms offer a beautiful view of the valley. Room service is excellent & the people care for you a lot. I have visited Shimla 4 times since 1997 & I had stayed in the same Hotel every time. The hotel has got everything in it except for a central Heating arrangement. Portable Heaters are available on Hire @ Rs. 150/- per day. Hot water geyser, wall to wall carpet, mini TV with Cable connection are the facilities offered. It may be noted that the Rooms facing the valley only offers a splendid view. Other room on the rear side do not offer any views. However, one can go to the terrace to view the beauty of the Shimla valley on the west side of the mall road. Visitors must insist for rooms on the valley side to get the experience.

Best Experience: At that cost, you cannot get a better hotel in Shimla which can offer a good view & facilities. Their driver Mr. Rajesh Sharma who takes you around for tours is the most charming & comfortable person, I had met. I have attached a brown filtered phograph taken from the Hotel Window. This would give you an idea of the view from the Hotel.
