"That awesome rainy night at Abu Road"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Nov 20, 2015
I went to Mount Abu with my family in August. This is the best time to visit a hill station we reached Abu station at sunset time. It was drizzling there the journey was so fabulous with mild songs. The view from road to the down town there was so good I wish I could stay there for long. The road is actually dangerous to drive on if you are not expert please don't drive there take a driver with you to drive for you. The experience of going up the hill is more exciting than coming down the hill.

"It is good to visit once"

  • 4.0/7

I think the view is good, specially after 6, you may get an view of sunset nicely setting down. Also it is a family place, you can enjoy with your family and enjoy bhuttas there. It is also a good romantic place but due to large public mass of families you may not get that romantic feeling.

"Relaxing hill station holiday"

  • 6.0/7
  • Posted Nov 28, 2014
I visited Mount Abu with my wife and her family. This was my second visit to Abu and I thoroughly enjoyed the vacation. We stayed at hotel Hilltone, which was suggested by some local people and it turned out to be a good place. Abu lake was a fun place where we did boating and were able to spot quite a few types of local and migratory birds. We tried some hiking and caving in the hills around the lake and it turned out to be a pleasant experience. Overall it was a fun holiday.

Mount Abu is a hill station located in Rajasthan state near border Rajasthan-Gujarat. It had a serene hilly beauty where you can relax your mind and body. Favourable visiting time is winter season. Must go for a short trip. Also enjoy sunset point, Nakhi lake, boating. Mini bazaar for shopping.

"Pleasant and lush green atmosphere"

  • 5.0/7
  • Posted Aug 19, 2014
What a pleasant atmosphere and scenery you get to witness when you travel through Abu Road. I visit here at least twice in a year, more preferably in monsoon days when the greenery is lush green. Usually it is to be covered by road but you can have little halts and can enjoy the sightseeing.
