I stayed in a hotel for 5 days and I must say that the property is great. Though the look of the hotel is old, but the room are well furnished and accommodating. Every room has a small balcony. The bathrooms are spacious however, I find the rooms could be more spacious. There is a mini bar which is present if you have a craving for a drink after hours, then you can get it at a reasonable price in the room itself The staff was courteous. Food is available 24*7 with good quality and quantity enough to make 2 people full. The best part about the hotel was swimming pool and can play water volley ball. The breakfast is available from 7:30 am to 10:30 am has various options for everyone which live counter for different recipes of egg. Overall, a good stay.
I planned 4 Night/5 Days vacation with my family at Adamo- The Bellus, Goa. I checked in on 3rd January and checked out on 7th January 2017. Airport transfers were included in my package so the driver received me at Airport. I reached at hotel around 02:15 pm. The response of reception was quite cold. Reception does not look like star property reception by any standard. I requested the room with pool view but the available room was on ground floor and the staff told me that there might be noise around as music is played most of the time in the restaurant which is at poolside. He also told me that parties are organized on Wednesday and Saturday and music is being played till 11 pm and lot of noise is created by foreign tourists so I choose to stay at first floor room in be block but the balcony of the room was on the other side of the hotel overlooking another hotel and some of road side shops, I would say the view from the balcony was not at all good, we hardly sat in the balcony. The big window at the room was overlooking lawn, view from that side was also not great just okay. They did not offer us welcome drink when I asked them about the welcome drink then only they sent it in the room and when I asked for hot beverage as welcome drink for myself they said that only cold beverage are being served as welcome drink. This was the regency room and they did not have any Bath tub there in the room. Somehow we settled in the room. Breakfast was fine during all days during our stay, breakfast menu was lavish and good in taste. Dinner was also included in our package but buffet dinner was there only one day out of four days and the menu of buffet was limited, food was also average in the taste. They offered a la chart menu for first three days and they took too long to serve us the food though there were not many guest during that time in the restaurant, a la chart food was also not great in taste except few dishes, it was just okay. I got really disappointed with the variety of dessert served during dinner, first two days only vanilla ice cream and fruit salad was available in desert, second day when I complained about the variety then they served brownie with vanilla ice cream and rest of the day along with ice cream they served Gulab jamun and some other sweet which was similar to room cake in taste. There was some DJ party there on Friday at pool side within open area of restaurant which caused lot of noise and discomfort to us during dinner. They should have separate area for such parties. There was no iron in the room and when I request them to send iron to my room they said that it is with some other guest and will send after some time but they did not send it to my room. Other day when I asked for iron, the lady at housekeeping said that it is still with some guest and when I asserted for the same then she said that we do not provide iron. I got the iron after waiting more than half an hour after reminder and when I was giving them reminder saying I have not received iron even after more than half an hour the lady at housekeeping started argument over phone, this kind of behaviour is not expected with the hotel staff. Their housekeeping services are very slow. Morning bed tea in the room was also chargeable. Though I did not order anything in the room but as per their room menu they charge 20% additional for room service. There was lot of noise at my floor late night once which disturbed my sleep that night. They have free bar from 4pm to 8pm. I tried the free bar twice, the experience of bar was good but during evening there are lot of mosquitoes in and around restaurant and lawn though they do fogging daily in the evening and take other measures too but it becomes difficult to sit there at least with the kids because of the mosquitoes and foul smell of fogging. My daughter had to suffer from many mosquito bites. There is a big swimming pool with sun bed but there are no stairs where the pool is 4. 4 deep and most of guests swim. Pool was clean but there was no strip drain around the pool so one has to come out of the pool to spit again & again while swimming. Shower area at pool has no facade. Cleaning of the room and replenishment of Tea/Coffee/Water etc. Was good. Airport transfers were smooth and the driver provided to us for pick up and drop was wellhead. Complimentary foot massage was included in our package and the experience at their spa was good but we had to wait there for half an hour in spite of having appointment at spa. The location of the resort is good as Calangute beach and local market is at walking distance but the approach road to hotel from main road is not in good condition. Ambience of the resort is also okay. Overall I would say my experience with Adamo was average and the hotel is highly priced, if someone has stayed in good 4 star property and want same kind of experience then I would not recommend this property to him. They should improve in almost all areas specially their housekeeping services, service at restaurant and taste/variety of food.
I booked this hotel based on top ratings from hotel review sites. I would say that the hotel did not disappoint me. It is a quite big and decent property in the area just 10-15 minutes walk to Calangute Beach. The hotel property is clean. Lot of foreigners stay in this hotel. The hotel has a good swimming pool, good lawns, children play area, open air gym. The staff are courteous. The hotel offers free drinks too during day time They offered me a pool facing ground floor room. So it offered an excellent view from room balcony One thing which I didn't quite like is the room quality. I stayed in regent room. The room was very average. Although room size is decent, but had few basic flaws. The TV was not in front of bed. The bathroom was clean but not glossy (as I would expect from a hotel of this repute). The bathroom mat was tattered The hotel buffet breakfast is average quite tailored for foreigners. As a north Indian, I didn't like food taste here much. The food prices are not exorbitant The reception staff seemed to be interested in earning commissions if you avail their services for tour booking etc. But that is normal in such places One part which I disliked about reception staff is their eagerness to get the room vacated on checkout day. They called me at room three times between 11. 30 AM to 11. 50 AM. I felt bit bad about it, but they said that new guests are waiting Overall, I felt satisfied from this hotel and can stay here again.
Goa had always been our choice to celebrate our birthday, marriage anniversary or just to enjoy the rains I, along with my beautiful sweet wife [both senior citizens], stayed from 5th to 9th June 2015 in most comfortable room with a sitout balcony facing beautiful flora & fauna Right from pick-up from Goa airport, we felt pampered, taking care of our age. The management allowed us to occupy the room no. 804 at ground floor much earlier than the normal check-in time Our package was inclusive of breakfast, dinner & a spa massage for my wife. Hard & soft drinks were on the house from 11 am to 8 pm during our stay Sumptuous/elaborate breakfast & open air wine & dine with live music overlooking swimming pool in dazzling disco lights in the relaxing atmosphere was out of world experience Perfect blend of good location, comfortable rooms, best food & service, great ambience, hotel Adamo - The Bellus has a spa, good sized swimming pool, small gym & sport room where one can relax, rejuvenate & get pampered at affordable price The hospitality at hotel Adamo - The Bellus was par excellence. We have been to Goa many times but this was the best till date.
I visited this hotel in seasonal time so the tariff was six thousand. The overall experience was good. The hotel was little far from Airport as it takes one hour to reach. The hotel is located near to beach, which is in walk-able distance. I did not face any issues to reach the hotel. The service was best in this hotel e.g., when I entered the room, I found it was not clean the moment I asked for it they immediately changed the room itself. The interior was looking good and very attractive whereas, exterior was very spacious and comfortable. The staff in the hotel were good and very helpful. There was no delay in check-in and check-out. The room allotted to me was like studio, big space, fine bed, small kitchen cabin, attached bathroom and small balcony, which was very comfortable. There was a swimming pool view from the room. All the amenities were working properly. There is nothing to suggest this hotel as everything was good. The food provided from the hotel restaurant was good in both veg and non-veg, which was in reasonable price. The hotel had some indoor-outdoor games and GYM facilities. It was a family trip in the month of December. I can suggest travellers to stay in this hotel closing the eyes.
