Adoni Town is famous for the fort of Adoni, dating back to the period of the Vijayanagar Empire. The town is also popular for its cotton dhurries, known as shatranjis. The Jumma Masjid is also one of the main tourist attractions here and represents the Muslim architectural style. It was constructed by a governor of the Adil Shahi Dynasty, in 1680.
The Jami Mosque is a Muslim architectural structure, dating back to the 17th century. It was constructed by Governor Madu Qadri of the Adil Shahi rulers. The mosque has a prayer hall, along with a five-arched exterior. The Rangi Mosque lies in the vicinity of the Jami Mosque. It was constructed by the governor of Adoni, Masud Khan, between 1662 and 1687. The Tomb of Malik Rahman Khan and the Mahayogi Lakshmamma Avva Temple, are other attractions in Adoni.
