Agonda Beach is situated in the southernmost taluka of the state of Goa, at a distance of 37 km from the town of Margao. Situated along the Arabian Sea, this tourist destination has several rocky formations. The beach stretch features an ancient church, known as the Agonda Church and few academic institutions. The Saint Annes Church, situated along the coastline, is another attraction.
One of the busy beaches of the state, Agonda Beach is connected with Chaudi and Palolem. Travellers can board a bus from Chaudi and Margao to reach this beach town of South Goa.
