Hotel Review of House of MG - Metro Heritage Hotel
Comments: The overall experience was just about satisfactory. I guess with time it will become better as the quality of services left a lot to be desired. Its proximity with the airport and towards other places of interest is an advantage which it has.
Best Experience: The room service is very prompt and efficient, which made up for the other lapses. The morning complimentary b/fast folks in the restuarant were very accomodating and helpful.
Worst Experience: The front desk needs a major overhauling. Though, I had booked teh room on the internet with all payments made before hand, we were a group of 5 people and during checkout when the payments for the other rooms were being made they also charged for my room on their bill. When countered by me as to why they did such a thing, they were simply indeferent about it and then to do the reversal they took their own sweet time, knowing very well we were running short of time and had to catch our flight out of Ahmedabad, which too later theysaid they cant do now as the credit card swipe machine had gone out of order. We had to leave without the refund only an assurance that they would send it to the address on the check in register. After a whole month and lot of follow up through the people who booked the hotel on teh internet the refund was sent.
