The Akbari Mahal was built in the memory of Nagaur, which was recaptured in the year 1556 from the Governor of Ajmer by the Mughals. The art and architecture inside the mahal depicts the unique work of Mughals and the Rajputs. Most of the art and architectures within the palaces and mahals, have been influenced by the ancient Mughal art.
