Aldona village is located in the Bardez taluk, on the banks of the River Mapusa and lies at a distance of around 8.2 km from the destination. The village is popular among tourists for the St. Thomas Church that was constructed in 1596. The church displays beautiful statues and symbolic biblical murals. Earlier, natives adorned these statues with jewellery.
