Alibaug food, sight-seeing and shopping options
the Kolaba fort which is around 700-800 meters away from the beach is walkable during low tide.....tide timings approximately are 3pm to 6pm its definitely low tide n morning time around 12pm is definitely high tide.... at the fort itself there are some amazing views of the sea and otherwise just ancient broken down architecture n one beautiful temple..... try ur best to go to the beach during low tide so u cn walk 2 the fort as it is more fun rather than taking a horse cart ride which charges 160 for two ppl for a return trip and a hour of time at the fort itself... nothing to shop as such but things are cheap there..... there's even one big reebok showroom with gr8 discounts

Hotel Review of Ravi Kiran Hotel
Comments: Location good. Food okay. I think this is the best hotel to stay in Alibaug. Other hotels are too unclean and cheap feeled compared to this one.
Best Experience: Good food.
Worst Experience: No bookins available on given phone numbers we have to book by calling up some no. in mumbai and we cannot book the hotel by simply calling up the hotel itself
