Located at a distance of about 13 km from Nizamabad, Alisagar Reservoir is a popular picnic spot in the region of Nizamabad. The nearby garden was actually developed by the Nizam of Hyderabad and this garden is currently under the supervision of the local irrigation department. This garden is spread over a total land area of 33 acres and is popular for its tree house, deer park and a flower garden.
Within the garden of Alisagar, there is also a lake by the same name, where boating facilities for the visitors has been introduced recently.
