Decent Hotel

4.8/7
Posted 30 Jan

You would love the hospitality here. The services offered are pretty decent. It is an ideal choice for family stay and they provide travel options for sightseeing in Udaipur. It is well connected with the city and you must try the Dal Bati and Churma restaurants around it.

Great food and excellent housekeeping

5.9/7
Posted 22 Nov, 2015

We'd been to Udaipur for a short, family holiday and the ancient palaces and beautiful lakes left us spell-bound. Being a short trip, we didn't really use the amenities. However, the bed was comfortable. The TV set, tea pot, and other utility items were decent. The housekeeping staff was excellent. At check-out time, we'd left a jacket in the closet, and while we were settling our payment, one of the housekeeping boys got it to us at the reception. The check-in and check-out procedures were smooth. The food at Amantra is excellent. The restaurant manager made sure that he visited all the guests and solicited feedback. You must try the Rajasthani thali; it's decently priced and sumptuous. The hotel is 1-minute away from Saheliyo ki baadi. Sukhadiya circle is also 5-minutes away from the hotel and serves "Chowpati" kind of food. It is worth trying if your are not too hungry and want to grab some quick tangy bites. Also, there's a handicraft emporium right next doors, where you can pick up some gift articles. I'd try and explore the amenities at the hotel if I visit again.

I had a good stay at this hotel. The location of the hotel was good. The internal and external appearance of the hotel was good. The check in and check out was done on time. The service of the staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful. The room allotted to me was neat with all required amenities in working condition. I did not eat food at this hotel. There were no activities in the hotel.

Great location, excellent food and very helpful staff

6.6/7

This is really a great value for money hotel. The location is great - in the road right opposite the Sahelion ki Bari. The entrance, the lobby, the room, the restaurant - all prove that this is a hotel meant for the discerning business traveler or a holiday maker who wants the comforts of a good hotel without the unnecessary frills of a more expensive one. The staff is very helpful - Mr Imran Khan, in particular, was very friendly and courteous to us.
