A very scenic place away from traffic. The hotel is slightly away from munnar city and you will have to drive 3KM from the road towards(after) munnar. A good place for family to say and enjoy the break. The food is priced on a higher side and closest restaurants are 5-6 km away. The staff is very cordial and supporting.
excellent location ,it is away from the city u can enjoy the waterfalls and nature. very rarely you get such kind of place to relax. Hotel rooms were neat and clean staff and food was excellent ,wifi provided you get hot water all the time. some activities like table tennis, chess, carroms were provided. finally, nice hotel to relax & stay with family for 2days.
Location, service and food are good. The only issue iis comnectivity from hotel to munnar. There is bo comercial vehicle from hotel to munnar. But thr place is really good it looks like a point whete u must visit in munnar...................................
It has a nice waterfall in its backyard. Very nice place to observe nature and be in a quite and serene place. Overall very nice place to be with the nature. It has a good restaurant with nice menu and very nice place for the kids. One suggestion would be proper signboard in the lane for easy location of the place
I and my hubby visited Falling Waters resort during May 1st week for our 2nd honeymoon. This place was just apt. It just can't be better. Its a beautiful resort located uphill from the main Munnar city after about a distance of 35kms inside. The reception was warm and our room had a beautiful natural forest waterfall behind. At the porch were you can simply sit and spent hours talking with your beloved, watching the crystal clear water fall, the birds chirp and the green forest, Falling is the best destination for the couples looking for immense and all time for each other. Apart from the beauty of infrastructure, the 2nd best highlight was the tasty food, specially non veg. We never ate outside during sight seeing because the resort food was damn tasty. There was carrom board, cricket and other recreation activities at the common food area along with the TV as well. Warm water and basic amenities with proper hygiene was maintained. Only issue we had with that particular room was the reception phone line prob, rest overall it was an amazing experience. Another point worth noting is that there is no mobile phone network connectivity except BSNL. I take that as a positive point as we really don't need phones ringing all time during vacation. However the reception staff were kind enough to make us use their landline. They have their own cab facility on request and pay use, that makes commutation to the city easier. Not to forget to mention Munnar is beauty by itself by stay at Falling Waters added to it. It was amazing !!
It was my holiday trip to Munnar in the month of April 2017. I visited Munnar with my family members to the hotel My native place is Hyderabad district. I booked our stay in the hotel through travel agency & visited. We reached the hotel by our travels free parking facilities were available in the hotel. Munnar was excellent in place for a holiday location. Location of the hotel was excellent it was far from the city but it is beautiful hotel location. The ambience of the hotel was an excellent in there the water fall in the hotel was very good. The reception was excellent in receiving us while we check in they were very polite & so kind to us by guiding the local places. Rooms were excellent in accommodation the maintenance was very well maintained. The food we had breakfast in the hotel was excellent in taste. Overall service was good from the reception food service & room service in the hotel. There were so many activities like table tennis chees & carrom. I suggest the hotel people maintain the same standards in the hotel & the bed sheets which they gave us were turned it should be checked before providing to visitors. It was an excellent hotel to visit there.
We (4 adults and 2 children) reached the hotel at 7 pm on 24th Dec 2015 after a bit hardship as the location in Google maps isn't mentioned right. The hotel is located at about 17 km from Munnar town near Mambalam road. Hence, it's ideal for travellers having own vehicle. There is a small waterfall adjacent the property visible from the water view rooms we were offered. The view from the rooms were superb. Since it was Christmas eve we were offered gala dinner. The menu was mainly non veg. Though charged at 750, it was good. The water view rooms we booked were good and spacious but the property needs to be maintained properly. Dusty fans, broken cot fixtures, all point to this lacuna but overall stay was good with excellent service and nice location. But hotel management should kindly update the hotel location and maintain property properly. We stayed there for two nights. The hotel staff are supportive and prompt. The complementary breakfast offered was also good.
The hotel had a very superb view overall. Very quite and peaceful place to relax. The Hotel staff provided excellent food and service whenever requested. Appreciated the service of Mr. Mahesh and his entire group. Would love to recommend this resort to all the travellers for a pleasant and relaxing holiday. The location of the hotel seems to be on a remote place but once you enter the resort, you forget everything.
I stayed in the hotel on a honeymoon trip during the month of December, 2013. The appearance of the hotel was good. The hotel is located in the outskirts of the city and near to the Bus Stand. There were waterfalls near to the hotel. Surroundings of the hotel was a village and it is safe to stay there. Staff service in the hotel was good and quick service. There was no delay while check-in and check-out. Taste of food was good as per our menu; both veg and non-veg was available and pricing of food was reasonable. They speak English did not face any communication issue. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained with amenities like TV, AC and a geyser in working condition. The rooms have waterfalls and Mountain View. The rooms are cleaned daily with 24 hrs hot water facility. There was a badminton court in the hotel and outdoor games. There was no sightseeing trip in the hotel. My mother tongue is Telugu and hometown is Tirupati. It is value for money paid and recommendable to other travellers. No suggestion from my end to the hotel management.
