Another beautiful temple is the Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple. It is built in a typical Kerala style and is dedicated to Sree Krishna. It was built between the fifteenth and the seventeenth A.D by a Chempakasherri ruler called Sri Devanarayan. The milk porridge called Palpayasam" severed to the devotees is very famous. """

5 traveller reviews for Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple
Dedicated to lord Krishna. This temple is huge and beautiful.Temple surrounding are very well maintained. There is a huge pond in this temple , which is very clean. Pasayam given at this temple is super delicious . Loved it .
About 15 Km from Alleppey. Bus service is available. Very divine atmosphere. No forceful extraction of money. Only one line for everyone to enter. Temple pond is big & nice looking. Lord Krishna is the main deity. There are other Sannidhanams inside the temple. Palpayasam is famous here & issued by noon time, so if you plan your visit by 10.30 am, you can see the temple & taste the Prasadham.
It was a pleasant stay at Alleppey Prince Hotel. The hotel is near to Alleppey finishing point...Reviewed 3 days ago
