An old heritage hotel which has always been around. I was amazed how it has been renovated/maintained by maintaining that heritage feel of it. Very clean and service was good. The complementary breakfast had a good spread along with the fruit basket in the morning for the health conscious. Priced very reasonably (may be due to the intense competition and surplus of hotel rooms in Chennai).

It's a hotel which made me go back in time with its architecture and style it was, as if it was straight out of the 80s. It's a well-maintained property at a good location in the city but a little far from the airport. Food in the hotel is good and the restaurant has good live music every night. Banquet hall is big and spacious enough to accommodate 400 - 500 pax in classroom style seating. Buffet food also does justice to the place. The room linen seemed outdated to me but it was clean and a nice bath tub made me forget about its flaws.

Stayed mid June 2015. Nestled in a quiet locality in Egmore about 4 km from Chennai Central. The check-in and checkout have been perfect, warm and smiling staff, ever helpful, good food and spacious rooms. It also gives you the right ambiance whether you are on business or family visit. No complaints during my stay, although was very short for 2 days. They even accommodated a late checkout as my train was at 6 pm and allowed me to stay until 4, 12 noon being the check out time. However, note that I had arrived the previous morning but had booked from 12 noon the day precious to my arrival, a good 7 hours saving by the hotel. Still, a good gesture by the hotel, because not many hotels are flexible and helpful, most are after your wallet.

Overall, a great stay and I recommend this hotel for all types of hotel stayers. I was used to Pride and then Ramada, but this is a happy new find for me, maybe I would use it for a long time to come if they maintain this standard.

The hotel location nearby the Egmore railway station connect by railway and road routes to reach quickly. Hotel is of royal nature and has all facilities like swimming pool, big cultural house, travelling aids, small shopping and of the personal convenience. Pick up and drop services to and fro the hotel are on payment bases. Now a days all type of food that is North Indian, South Indian and Continental food is available to have full personal eating tastes. Behaviour of the staff personnel and management is really praiseworthy!

This is a good place to stay for those coming to the city to do business. The location being very central in the city. The rooms are very well designed and spacious. The amenities in the room are good like WiFi, AC and hot water are well taken care of. The food here is very good both veg and non veg. The buffet here is what we enjoyed the most and I also liked the swimming pool area which was well-maintained. The room service was good and that contributed to our pleasant stay. I would like to come here again on my next visit.

I have stayed here a few times before and was there for 6 nights this time. A well equipped gym and swimming pool made it easy to relax indoors on the hot summer afternoons of May. The hotel is well-located making it easy to get to any part of the city. The staff are very friendly and courteous and made me feel at home. I plan to stay here again on my next visit.

This was a landmark destination in the city it has become so popular. The rooms were well designed and spacious. They are maintained well & are very clean. The hotel property was kept very clean and was at a reasonable budget. The food here was very good. The buffet was really good and can not be missed. The staff were very helpful and nice. The swimming pool was a place we had maximum fun at the hotel. This was kept very clean and staff were kept for our kids safety. We had a great time here and will want to visit again.

This is a very nice business hotel with great infrastructure and location in the heart of the city. The rooms are very spacious and designed well with all basic amenities like a/c, wifi & hot water facility. The housekeeping staff maintained the room and hotel premises very well. The food was very good and I personally enjoyed the buffet during lunch. The staff were very nice and helpful through our three days stay. The spa was also very nice which I tried. The children enjoyed the swimming pool and were very happy. The stay was very memorable and will try to come back.
