It was overall a very good experience, especially the big pool for water sports and we had a party pool side also and it was very much enjoyable. The staff are cooperative, however two things that you need to travel internally a lot to go to restaurant for food etc. And other overall its quite expensive. However one should have a try and visit once for experience.

I am writing this post to let everyone know about the harrowing experience we had faced at Aamby Valley City. We had visited the amazing property on 24th of December 2014 and had stayed there for 2 nights at a Timber Chalet. The 2 days of our stay were memorable, but what happened after that was a horrifying experience we will never forget.

At the time of checkout on 26th December, as we all know we are supposed to give our cars at the valet service, we called for our car. After 20 minutes, on checking with the Valet people, they say that the car has been damaged and the driver side door cant be opened. On going to the parking area, we found out that the car was severely damaged. We asked to speak to the right person for getting the matter resolved. But to our pain, we were made to wait for 3 hours before anyone even approached us from the management side. As we had 3 infants and a handicapped woman, we requested them for a place to rest. After a long argument, some Mr. Ankit Juneja arranges for a place for us inside the restaurant Woodpecker. As the infants needed to be fed, we asked the people to give us a private place where the handicapped lady could feed her baby. To much of a shock, the lady was directed to a place without a proper ventilation and having a dehumidifier next to it. It was very inconvenient for her to even sit there and settle the baby who was frantically crying to his guts out.

This is one part where, the so called hospitality came to light. When we demanded to speak to the person for what is to be done for the damages, Mr. Ankit Juneja told us that they are not responsible for the Valet services which by the way are employed by the company and not an independent service providers. Then after a long wait at the reception stairs, Mr. Subodh Pandey comes with a solution that they filed a complaint with the Police and the necessary investigation will be done. On reaching the office of the Police, which by the way is located inside Aamby Valley and operated by them, Mr. Subodh Pandey shows attitude for the frustration we removed at him in front of the Police officer Mr. Yogesh Savane. This entire scene took approximately 5 hours. After everything was conveyed to the police officer, we were assured that a proper investigation will be done and the culprit will be nailed. These were the words from the police officer and Mr. Subodh Pandey. So we left the property.

After that Mr. Subodh Pandey was reminded by phone calls and by sms for the investigation updates and the FIR copy so that we could claim insurance. Due to his incompetency to work, he could not or may be did not furnish us the necessary documents and so we could not claim the insurance. On repetitively reminding him by sms, I got a threatening reply from Mr. Subodh Pandey, that if henceforth I sms him there will be an issue. This is how hospitality industry works. I am not here for the money that I have spent getting my car repaired, but I am here to tell everyone and even the management of Aamby Valley City, that if you treat your patrons like this even after knowing that they have a handicapped person and 3 infants with them, then I think they are not fit to be in this business. I hope this message reaches the management to at least get their employees have the courteous attitude towards the guests.

The Ambey Valley City is a huge city and which I believe may be over 100 acres of land. The Ambey City has all the things at its best be it pool games, food in variety of restaurants, the lake, rooms and bungalows, so everything were perfect. The pricing was also as per same and one can go and have experience for a day or two. I believe it is only for large groups that they make place available.

It is a good hotel and no problem in finding the hotel. Nature wise, staff was nice there. They were quickly attending to all our requests. There was no delay at the time of check-in and check-out. Location of the hotel was nice. It was situated in the middle of the city. Room and its facilities were okay there. Wi-Fi facility was not available there. All amenities were present in the room. View was very nice from the room. You can have good looking facilities available. From natural point of view it was a good location. Hot water was provided by them. Food was okay in this hotel. Punjabi, South Indian, and all types of food were provided in this hotel but Gujarati food was not available there. It was a holiday trip. Activity was not there. Sightseeing trip was not provided by them. Money spend there was value for money.

My experience in this hotel was very nice. It was a 3 night stay with family. Atmosphere, gaming, food or everything was good in this hotel. I enjoyed my holiday in this hotel. Hotel was located on the highway. Pick-up and drop facility was provided by them. Hotel staff nature was friendly and helpful with us. They were timely attended to all our requests. Check-in and check-out procedure was done on time. Interior and exterior of the hotel was good. Room was good. It was neat and clean. All amenities were working well in the room. Regular cleaning was there. I saw valley from my room. I had taken veg food in the hotel. Quality wise, food was good. Price wise, it was reasonable. Indoor and outdoor games, swimming pool, and other activities were present there and I did use them. Sightseeing trip was not organized by the hotel people. Value for money paid. It is a recommendable hotel to others. It was under construction and no suggestion is needed there about the hotel. It was a relaxation trip in October or November 2013.

Amby Valley, a remarkable location near Lonavala, Pune is worth visiting once in a lifetime. If you want to enjoy the facilities, it is advisable to visit during or immediately after monsoons. This place has it all. Beautiful landscaping, clean and luxurious environment, variety of dining options, world class amenities for entertainment- all of this and more just 3 hours drive from Mumbai city. Highly recommend this to one and all.

The Amby Valley is a very nice and very very huge property which one can cover without having vehicle. It is also a second home property concept there. We went there with group of 100 people and enjoyed thoroughly. The pool party which was a huge water complex. It is bit expensive.

The Amby Valley City at the Lonavala entrance is a very very huge property and is well managed. It's not less then a 7 star property in my view with everything to the best. Especially the kind of water areas, games and pool they have maintained is nothing I found in India in nearby Mumbai in any resort. Definitely the pricing is aggressive.
