Hotel Review of Astoria, Hotel
Comments: Astoria is a decent hotel - recommended for stay. We had two corner/adjacent rooms with a corridor/balcony view of the backstreet of the hotel. It was busy with people during the day and quiet during the night. We did not take the food experience at the hotel because first our dear friend simply forgot that he had advance paid for the breakfast as well while booking :) and secondly coz we were very excited to dig our teeth into the recommended dhaba and local food at Amritsar .... the only problem we faced was hot water not being available at times mainly because of the electricity going on and off and the hotel did not have such a massive power back to run geysers while the power was gone ! Anyway that did not bother us as were very excited and bent upon enjoying our whole trip... The room service was good whenever we called for water, tea or extra blankets... anyway we got the extra mileage coz there was not much of a rush at the hotel during our stay and we being a bunch of youngsters were in our own sweet dreamworld :)
