Ananthapura Lake temple, the only lake temple in Kerala, is situated in a deserted area near the Kasargod town. This structure is built out of a massive rock and is dedicated to Anantha Padmanabha Swami. The temple walls have mural paintings that depict stories from the Puranas. It also has a cave that leads to a pond.
The Ganapathy temple is situated atop the cave. The industrial park of the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA), located at this site can also be visited
