Anantya is a must see location for nature lovers. It is nestled inside a huge plantation on the shores of Chittar lake. The cottages are spacious with high roof and a huge window facing the lake. The open shower, Lilly pond, garden seats makes the Sidda Cottages truly romantic . The restaurant surrounded by Lilly ponds, infinity pool and the lake makes it the right place for a candle light dinner. The continental food served by the chef was really tasty. The Bar has a breathtaking view of Chittar lake and the green mountains surrounding it. The quiet and beautiful surroundings, good food, clean air, the hospitality, earthy designs, all together makes it the best resort I had ever seen.
This Resort is located away from hustle bustle of City . Location is so beautiful that you get view of lake from every villa . You wake up and see such a beautiful and refreshing view. They have lots of options for outdoor activities as the surrounding area of resort is itself so big. Swimming pool with clean water. You can take dinner near the pool too. Food is also nice .
Anantha resorts is one such place. Right from its geographical location to the little surprises like the shuttle court in the woods this place has to be seen to be believed. Though geographically located in Tamilnadu, the resort has to be accessed through a road from Kerala. The lush greenery and vibrant colours of the flowering plants are the first things that strike us. The staff are polite and friendly. It's a perfect place to loose contact with the outside world and indulge in a book before we discover hours have passed by. The ambience is so relaxing. Nestled between the western ghats, with a large lake beside the resort and rubber plantations it a sight that make us wanting to come back again. Its a must visit resort! T was built in very good place and far away from the town. The overall, experience of the hotel was good. The provided room was very good at the hotel and nice pool. The parking place was available at the hotel with good security. Service of the hotel was good and due to build in Forest like area free from pollution, fresh air. It is good for week trips. It is suitable to visit for both friends and family.
The name goes with the experience . . Anantya in sanskrit is referred to as infinity The property is on a lush green landscape with the view of the western ghats which does completely give you an out of the world experience. Lovely mesmerizing views You can reach them by many ways out of which if you are coming down from Tamil nadu, you can get down at Nagercoil by train and catch a cab which would cost you around INR 1200/- and the duration is an hour and if you are heading from Kerala you can get down at trivandrum railway station or airport and would take roughly and hour or 2 depending on the traffic costing around 2 K We kind of reached very early around 10 and the front office were kind enough to give us an early check in. We took a whole stroll before we entered our villa. The place was completely in greenery with colorful flowers and small passage walkways to the villas The villas are quite huge and they have 3 different categories. One is the basic the other is with a Jacuzzi and the main one with a private pool All rooms have a pleasant sit out with a small artificial lily pond overlooking the hills and the ghats. Highlight is the outdoor shower area with a waterfall force pouring down on you which was relaxing and was a natural spa The beds were king sized with comfort linens and soft pillows overlooking the view through french windows. Every detail was perfect in the villa Now the dining experience as we had an early check in we went out to have their breakfast spread and that was it we had a great start every thing laid down was sumptuous and flavored and perfect in every way. Their menus have both south and north Indian and also Chinese South Indian was amazing from appam to puttu to idli to dosa and their combinations were just too good, north Indian could have been better if they had left its preparation in the north Indian way rather having it fusion'd with Kerala style by adding coconut milk to make it more richer and creamier which was not something great Tandoor platters were perfect though They have a pool with a view Also a pool bar, it would have been great if it was functioning can't blame them though after the govt rules imposed. Hope they soon find an alternative to that and keep the bar active having all that lounge space and not being able to use it. A lot of maintenance required though lot of insects floating in the water They have both indoor and outdoor games for leisure and cycles for a pleasant ride across the property Overall the long journey and the infinite experience was worth it. Would definitely recommend this property to nature lovers and a break from the city it is The perfect time would be the monsoons.
Having been there earlier, I proposed to have our Guindy Engineers Class of 1964 Reunion there. My classmates after seeing the Resort website readily agreed and they didn't regret it For me it was as nice clean and charming as it was three years ago. For the first-timers the setting was blissful. The peninsular site ensures that all the cottages and the dining hall provide good view of Chittar lake. Each cottage also has a private pavilion and a lotus pond if one wants to relax outdoors gazing at the lake and the hills beyond. For guests in cottages farther from the dining they have an electric buggy The roomy cottages are well furnished and neatly maintained. There's an outdoor shower too. The toilet supplies are adequate and there's an electric kettle with tea and coffee The staff were extremely courteous and the service prompt. Housekeeping is excellent. The food was excellent The infinity pool is well maintained and is a star attraction Activities may be limited to hiking in the forest and rubber estate walk which the resort management is willing to arrange. For the devout Sri Adhi Kesava Temple at Thiruvattar is a must. The Padmanabhapuram Palace of the erstwhile King of Travancore is an interesting tourist attraction.
I didn't expect the location like this. Very fantastic and greenish. Full of rubber and coconut trees make the atmosphere lovely. Gardening is good. Swimming pool is so nice. The lawn near the dam water is fantastic and makes every one to sit there and enjoy the cool breeze. Tasty food. Very lovely care. Walking around there makes us to feel getting more healthy. Hotel looks like old heritage. Rooms are very nice. Wish to go again with family or friends.

It was a good experience. The resort is good. The rooms was good. Overall, a nice place to hangout. Moderate rates. The best thing was the food. Good maintenance and services is fabulous. Nice trip. Beds are good and outside view is good.
This place has a pool to play, arrangements for both indoor and outdoor games(chess, carrom boards, badminton, net ball, cricket) arranged in truly amazing and captivating landscape. For old people they can have serene lake to calm their nerves The rooms were large we took chakra. The beds were extravagant and so the furnishing. Service was very good, as the staff helped us for the boiled water we needed for our baby. The food was very good. Not too many items but more than enough. Like 5-6 items each in veg-non veg section and desserts I would only like to suggest just go there with the map by your side or contact the staff for the route as it is actually the "Best kept secret" as their website says and believe me its true. The only problem its Expensive but for a vacation its worth every penny.
