"Posh and comfortable place"

It takes you back to your grand mom\'s home... yet posh and comfortable place.

Best Experience: The pool was a place where i liked it the best. The look of the pooltook me back to the ages of the kings.

Its a nice place to relax. Especially the pool is a great place to chill out. The place is extremely clean and the food is quite good. And since its not very far from bangalore its a great weekend break.

An excellent getaway for the weekend. Go here if you want a completely relaxing experience in a beautifully done up old-style place. Everything including the furnishings in the room have been chosen with such care. The food is pretty good too.

About Angana - The Country Inn

A weekend getaway on the outskirts of Bangalore, Angana is reminiscent of a period home. The teak furniture, toggle switches, bigger than life-size fans and gramophone with old LP records re-create the ambiance of an ancestral home, and the courtyard is the focal point of all activity. Oil massage, steam baths, and hammocks help guests relax and rejuvenate. Trips to a nearby floriculture farm and the Art of Living Ashram can be arranged.

Rooms & Amenities

There are 6 independent rooms and 2 cottages. The cuisine aims for home-cooked authenticity and includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare. Guests can ask for picnic hampers. Angana has a swimming pool and massage centre with steam rooms. Indoor and outdoor game facilities are also available. Children have access to the library. The open party space can hold 300 people while the amphitheatre and conference hall accommodate 40 people.
