The village of Anjaneri bears a great mythological and historical importance. This place is considered holy and important as the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. The village itself derives its name from the mother of Hanuman - Anjani. One of the famous attractions of this village is the Anjaneri Fort.
There are a few Jain carvings on nearby cave walls. Another major attraction of this village is the presence of the temple of “Anjani Mata” that is dedicated to the mother of Lord Hanuman.
1. Title should summarise your review
2. Elaborate. Instead of 'Good sightseeing place', write, 'Beautiful temple with intricate architecture' or 'Kid-friendly park but limited rides'
Anjaneri as some of facts say that is the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. So being a Hanuman bhakt I also went there. It lies just 5-7 kms before Trimbakeshwar and I must tell you the place is literally heaven. The Anjaneri Hill is 3km inside from the main highway so either you can walk if you can else go by your own convenience. I was the one who travelled all by walking. As I reached there it was mesmerising. This trek has got everything. From climbing broken rocks with continuous running water. With monkeys all around, some narrow path ways. There is also a lake and it pretty nice. You get to see so many small water falls with heavy winds you can feel the water coming back against the wind. After the lake if you go upwards you will find the best part of this place " the walk on the clouds " the whole hill is covered with clouds which makes the best place of Nasik. Also I don't want to ruin the surprises you experience when you get with this trek. So go by yourself and enjoy it. A must one for solo travellers. And I was also the one travelling solo.
