The overall experience of the hotel was very good. Everything was fine at the hotel. There was no activity arranged by the hotel. I don’t have any suggestion for this hotel. I would like to recommend this hotel to upcoming travellers. I had booked the room at the hotel by online.
Location of the hotel was average. Staff behavior was nice. Services were quick. Hotel was value for money and recommendable for others. Safari was available in activities. Rooms were neat, clean and well furnished. I went there with in 2011. It is a recommendable hotel for travelers.
Dandeli is a place very close to nature with lots of greenery and river Kali following through heart of it. At such a location, one should stay at resort like Anshi Nature Camp that completely re-juvenile this experience. Don't expect luxury, it very basic resort but still you won't find compromise with quality either.
The facilities and food available was good there. The people were good.It is located around 55 to 60 km away from the prime location.Pickup and drop facility was not provided by them.I went there by my own transport. Room was good.It is like a tent. There were not much facility available in the room but it was neat.Basic amenities such as hot water,....Read More
It was a 3-day camp in Anshi. We were 6 of us, who visited this place. We enjoyed a lot staying here. The rooms they offered us were beyond expectations. It was just amazing. For a second we felt that rather roaming around in Dandeli, it’s better we stay there and enjoy. Overall, it’s well maintained and we wish to visit again.
It was a great experience there. Celebrated the new year there, it was good with wine and food and everything. The tents we stayed in where good and neat. It was a comfortable stay. But going for the pot in the open in the morning is something... you are always at your nerves :P Though was disapppointed in the wild life front, was expecting t....Read More
The overall experience was very good, except there were not many people in the resort and also there were no other activities involved for leisure time. But the jungle safari point is very near to this resort
The tent(rooms) were really awesome in middle of the jungle. If you are a true nature lover this is the place to visit.
This place is worth visiting,You will be right in midst of dense forest ! I stayed in the tent house it was very good.Service, food was excellent and it is pretty reasonable too :)

Booking conflicts: Only 1 tent was confirmed as a mercy. 2nd one was made available by relocating somebody else. We realised that the agent Indus Outback charged 100% commission for booking. Hence the initial 4-5 hours were tense. Later the days went very well. Liked the place and enjoyed the relaxed stay.
Excellent place,Forget the concrete jungle & see the Real Jungle. No mobile range.Forget everything & relax.Went for 2 km walk in the evening with an expert. The way he was talking - for a moment I asked him if he was born in the Jungle.HAh.Was a little scary - my first time in the JUNGLE.Kept looking back again & again.Night around 11 pm went for a ride in closed vehicle & saw a huge bison.
If you are a genuine nature lover this is the place to visit. No network , no tv hence pure nature to enjoy.
Overall it was extremely enjoyable experience. Kids enjoyed a lot. The jungle safari and trekking through the forest was a memorable experience. The food too was very good.
I drive of about 530 Kms from Bangalore and we reached Dandeli. Initially we got help from holidayiq for booking information. From Dandeli another drive of 50 Kms took us to Anshi. Wilderness at its best. No Mobile connectivity. No Landline connections except wireless communication. All is to be found are Solar Powered Lamps which are just enough to see and make your way around. Otherwise its pitch black. If you are a non-vegetarian, please buy the same from Dandeli and then the cooks in Anshi Nature Camp can prepare the dishes. One of these guys (Nagesh) will let you know that there are Black Panthers roaming around but then he would comfort you by saying that there are no dangers with Black Panthers. Rather the bisons are known to be dangerous in these parts. At this point of time you look into the darkness and can hear strange noises which would grip you intensely(well only if you exercise some imagination).
