We had a bad experience with the food so we had to eat at Sun City 2 kms away from Anutri. Room was good. One thing I must tell the management if they listen do not allow drivers and other people to roam inside the hotel premises. The phone was also not working in the room. A special thanks to subhendu and gopal who helped this stay from becoming a very bad experience.

I won't recommend any one to stay in this hotel. The service is very poor at the reception. And specially the behaviour of the manager there are many other options like sana beach at same price only. You have to enter the latest by 10 pm or they won't allow you.

The hotel was good. The rooms were clean. Food was too expensive. Need to work on the bathrooms. No proper bucket was provided. The park and the swings are amazing. Overall had a good experience. If any one is planning for a short stay would surely suggest it.

Very bad. Don't go here. Service is very pathetic. Staff is very rude and arogant. Do not like the view from the rooms. Food quality is very bad. Food is prepared in mustard oil. Rooms were not clean. No blanket available in room. No service available after 11. 30. Servant will stop near the room door and talk loudly.

I had paid Rs10, 618 (including taxes) for 2 days for a Room Type: Emerald AC. However when I reached the place it was full of house flies and the room condition was very poor. The door lock was broken and the table to keep the luggage broke as soon as my husband kept just his laptop bag. Room was not at all a good one and was too over-priced. Logically the room rent should have been around 1500 to 2000. Room service was not good. Location wise hotel is poor. There are flies all around the hotel and inside even AC rooms due to dry fish cultivation around the area. I took my baby for the first time for a trip and it was a waste of money. I saw the review from Make my trip while doing the Hotel booking but was disappointed. I will not book hotels going forward after reading reviews from make my trip.

I visit this hotel 2-3 months ago with my friends. Hotels is good with all latest amenities. But I am sorry to say that the staff are not good as well as their managers. You will find in buffet that one is having normal non-veg food and another person will have chicken mutton and everything. It is all depend how do you book the hotel. But the rooms and swimming pool are good, but I will never visit this hotel in future.

The hotel is unique in nature particularly at Mandarmoni. There hospitality was nice. Rooms were beautiful with all basic amenities. Foods and drinks were as per our choice. Pleasure of silence is enjoyable. Nights were romantic. Staff were very careful to attend every issue.

A weekend trip to Mandarmoni with wife was certainly blissful. But our stay at Anutri Beach Resort was the extra gain. It was necessary to pay an advance amount at their Kolkata booking office to book a room, but due to my busy schedule I wasn't able to do so. I requested them to do me favour by allowing a over the phone booking, as we were denifitely going. And I was impressed by there professional attitude even during this all important weekend.

On reaching Anutri, I was greeted with possibly the best room in the resort (sea and lawn facing-room 201). There was uninterrupted and uninhibited supply of sea wind. They offer complimentary breakfast with room booking. And they have got a seriously good kitchen. You will not be disappointed by anything you order (both taste wise and presentation). The hotel have got well-behaved and energetic staff who are always prompt with their services. The entire property is clean and well-maintained. Location wise this property is very close to the Mohona. You have to drive for about 600 mtrs after getting on the beach to reach the hotel. So keep in mind about the timing of the high tides. As it was Independence Day, the hotel authority arranged for an evening programme in the lawn, it was quite exciting.

Overall this was a good experience and those with mid range budget can definitely try staying here.

The hotel location was not good. The appearance of the hotel was good looking. The check in and checkout process was not delayed. The staffs at the hotel were not good and friendly. The activity like swimming pool was not organized by the hotel. The room allotted to me was not good and neat. The amenities at the room were in working condition. The special view was not seen from my room. The food served by the hotel was not good. The quality of the food was not good and at reasonable price. I would not like to recommend this hotel to others.

Overall, I should be honest to say that our stay was in most ways pleasant!!! The booking was made by my friend online and our stay was for 2 nights 3 days, we were booked into 1 Sapphire and 1 Ruby.

The car entrance and more so exit was most uncomfortable. For reasons best known to the authorities the main gate was never opened for car exit or people trying to access the beach.

Having earlier stayed at Victoria we found glaring differences (though the rate difference is a mere 1000 at most) our Ruby door had a broken lock and had a bolt instead of the lock being replaced. The Room was not readied as in its cleanliness before guest arrival. They serve old drinking water bottles are refilled with filter water to the rooms whereas they give us all other amenities in good packages.

For the rate they charge, I believe they should include a tea/ coffee maker in the rooms itself. The Room lighting is extremely dim and some LED lights were not working. Especially there is an ominous absence of light above the mirror. Placement of the TV is oddly wrong as it is not housed on a swivel holder.

Room service is pretty good and the boys sweating it out needs a lot of pat on their back since they are grossly short-numbered. Very cordial I must say each and every person had a very humble, honest, simplistic behaviour which really touched us.

What took the cake was their food anything and everything they prepared really excelled. Especially their Kebabs and Tandoori items were out of this world, just the right grilling, just the right marination.

Just one note the open air Tandoor Stall were full with cobwebs and looked very unhygienic, which I pointed out and the person cleaned it up pronto but its a shame that these lapses may take the sheen off their AWESOME cooking.

What really irritated us was the presence of about 10-15 guys who were occupying the pool all the time, openly drinking and howling, carrying drinks up and down the drive path in their swimming trunks. I wonder how the occupants of the rooms surrounding the pool absorbed all that, let alone us. The Resort authorities had no control or had no intention of control on them.

For us 2 families with small children, we were extremely annoyed and irritated and could not use the pool amenities at all during our stay.

The resort cannot afford to be positioned without families occupancy and I, for one would not recommend this place to any family. If the Resort authorities think it worthwhile then they should come up with some idea to actively deter these incidents in the future. The Blaring music was too much an irritation than a soothing sensation.

I would rather advise future travellers to make their choice solemnly. The Restaurant authorities should train their staff in being properly groomed for the occasion and at least have a proper uniform, properly worn (Including the Front Office Staff).

I would advise the hotel authorities not to be complacent in their services and approach, once they have put such a property and amenities on sale.

They should also maintain and promote the front area with deck chairs etc to their borders actively, those places are unkempt and are being wasted. Also I feel the main gate being closed all the time gives a very negative feel about the place from outside. They should think of making it the EXIT for cars and customers walking up to the beach.
