I went Shimla in the month of June 2017. It was a holiday visit with my friends. I booked my stay through online. The location of the hotel was very good. It was a very attractive place. It was in the heart of the city we can see good scenarios there. The overall appearance of the hotel was very good. The interior and the exterior of the hotel was good. The front desk and the booking office was excellent. They were very polite and very friendly in behavior. The services are given by them were excellent. Their services were very good. The room and the facilities were excellent. Cleanliness and the decoration were the main attraction in the room. We had food from outside of the hotel. WiFi service was not there. There were no activities provided. They should provide hot water facility and centralized heater. Overall experience was nice.
I stayed in the month of December and it was a holiday trip with family. I would rate the destination as very good as it was full with scenic beauty. The location of the hotel was very good. The hotel appearance was excellent, as it was well painted, very clean and looked very new. The hotel front office was very good and prompts in service. Check in and checkout was also very fast. Room was excellent as all the amenities were working properly and it was very clean & spacious. I liked the room service of the hotel, they were quick and responsive. The food was good and tasty. The overall experience was excellent.
Stayed in the year of 2014(New Year) - from 31 December to 3 Jan'14. A perfect honeymoon hotel for mesmerizing Manali . . Located at Upper Rangri on Kenya link road before Manali town - You need a cab to reach here. We paid off the cab which we have hired for our journey from Shimla to Manali. We were guided through the 1st floor cottage room. We booked a royal super deluxe room with breakfast and dinner combos - Value for money! The room (201) was exquisite and peaceful. Outside the room was a lobby with sofas to relax, a separate Kitchen with fridge loaded with snacks/ water bottles, drinks, etc. Our room was equipped with a king size cot and soft woollen mattresses, a sofa to relax, a small cool bar, a hot water kettle, The best part is its private Terrace (Though it is accessible from front lobby through small way) offering a blissful and mesmerizing view of the snow clad mountains. Another special is you can even have the same view of the mountains which you had from the terrace, from your room lying on your bed with the window curtains slide out. It was scary cold and we had to hire for hot air blower (not Room heater) for Rs. 500 / night (double load they call it) Food was offered in a separate cottage 25 m away - you need to get down and climb again to 1st floor. Canteen (indeed it is) was warmed up with charcoal burnt in the middle of the room. Food was really delicious and no buffet. On the New Year eve day, a buffet was served with drinks and was not charged unlike other hotels. Bathroom featured a beautiful bathtub and was clean Room service was very responsive and attended without any delay. We booked a local cab with the help of our hotel manager and was offered an attractive package rate for our entire trip @ Rs. 2500 which includes local sightseeing, trip to two temples, trip to Solang valley (Rohtang pass was closed during winters so we missed it) and trip to Kullu and Naggar and finally drop to Manali Bus Stand. Pros : Value for every penny spent. Peaceful and blissful (if you are not a party animal! - You could sit with your partner in the terrace and watch the mountains 24/7 without any noises. We heard from another Chennai couple whom we met other day that the famous hotel they stayed during New Year eve was noisy with DJs and noise from neighbours partying all the night that they couldn't even sleep through. Awesome service (anything and everything). Good hot served food. Concs: Location - Not easily accessible by walk. No room heaters, Pricey food (if a-la-carte menu selected). Overall, it was an experience of lifetime
It was an awesome trip in Manali last week with my friends. We had 3N and 4D plan, we booked our room in Apple Bud Cottages, we found the same images which was shared on internet. The hotel was very neat and clean, it is located at near around Bus Stand which was very convenient to reach the hotel. Rooms were very clean so that was very comfortable for us. There were clean bathroom, gallery, terrace and specially rooms. The room service and housekeeping were also nice. The hotel staff were very nice, they were polite and helpful. The food of hotel was very tasty so we had our food in hotel. The transportation was nice as it was very convenient, there were very nice view in Rohtang Pass I will recommend others to spend their special moment in Manali with nice service of Hotel Apple Bud as the hotel is located at very nice place and center point of the market. If you go to Manali, take the best service of the same. I will definitely go to Manali again and will enjoy the snowfall and best view of India.
My stay was for five days there. It was a honeymoon trip in October month 2013. I did not face any problem to find this hotel. I booked my room through a travel agent and they charged double. Appearance of the hotel was gorgeous. Staff behaviour was very nice and they had given on time services. Atmosphere of the hotel was like a homely. There was no delay in check-in and check-out facility. I booked deluxe room there and it was spacious. Staff of the hotel was cleaning the room on a daily basis. Blanket, washroom and other furnishing were in clean condition. All basic amenities were functioning properly like heater, etc. Garden was available there and I like it. Lawn was also very nice. 24hrs hot water facility was available. I had my food inside the hotel and I liked it. I preferred room service in food. Money wise, the food was reasonable. Nothing was available in activities like swimming pool, I liked the room services very much of this hotel. Overall, my stay there was best. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends.
The overall experience at this hotel was very good and comfortable. The location of this hotel is convenient but pretty inside and the appearance was superb. The staff members were polite and mannered and were quick to respond. The room allotted to me was very spacious and very maintained with all the essential facilities in proper working condition with good furniture. There was a very good view like mountain and river from the room. The food was very good in quality and delicious in taste with varieties and complimentary breakfast was provided. There was no delay during check-in and check-out process and the hotel is valuable for the money.
I stayed here for 3 nights last year. This place provides one of the best Indian hospitality you get. Rooms are spacious and overlooking the mountains. Staff were really good and accommodative. They also arrange sightseeing in car for reasonable rates. The best thing I liked was they were utilizing Solar power and I met the Hotel owner and he was very passionate about not only hospitality but also using energy efficient things, service, etc Must recommend for anyone going to Manali.
