It is one of the best amusement park in Gurgaon. Earlier it was situated in Delhi but then moved to Gurgaon. Best for all ages, fully secured, safely and all rides are so easy to ride without any fear.

"Rides are good but the food court and management are pathetic"

  • 2.0/7
  • Posted May 24, 2015
This is an awesome place with great rides but beware with the food courts and management take big time. They charge you 900 for entry and then you have to pay 100 for one locker makes it 1000. No outside food allowed you will take some food coupons, we took the Indian buffet with flip flops for which they charge 500 extra. Now it makes our investment 1500.

You can't stuff your bags and stuff in lockers as they are too small so you will be forced to take another one. Lt is bearable but the worst part comes when we entered the food court at 3. 00 they took our food coupons in starting and said one water bottle per person, I said it sounds good but these are not regular bottles. These were smallest perishable bottles which I saw last in airlines which are served for free and these guys serve it as one per person. I thought let's go to food it may be my savoury and witnessed the unbelievable. All the veg non veg item dishes were fully empty and saw people stuffing themselves with some watery curd which was the only thing on offer. I said totally disastrous. I went to manager of deck to complain and he said that sir zyada log aaye khana kam tha khatam hogaya. I said awesome, heights of mismanagement waited for 30min and a daal came. People jumped on it like hungry dogs and then I lost it. My friends had to fight for that small water bottle as the person asked him for coupon and we tried to explain they were already collected.

We felt disgusted and cheated and decided we can't wait longer. We decided to leave the food and go to the rides. It was a total fish market at the deck. At the end I'd like to say that rides are really good in oysters but the food court is pathetic. Try to avoid it if possible buy something from inside.

If you want to visit the best amusement park in and around Delhi then Appu Ghar is the right Place. Appu ghar is one of the oldest Parks and it also includes water rides. A fun filled place to go during afternoons. Appu Ghar can easily be reached via metro.

"Appu Ghar used to be a heaven for kids"

  • 4.5/7
  • Posted Apr 12, 2014
Appu Ghar used to be a heaven for kids. Recently when the lease of the property got over then the place got shut down. Now it is shifted to the Gurgaon as Apno ghar. Appu Ghar had two parts to it. An amusement park with popular rides like My fair lady, bhoot bangala, Crazy Car among others. They had a ride for people of all ages. The second part was a water park with one of the best water rides in India. Though Apno Ghar is all set and ready but Appu Ghar will still be missed.

"This doesn't exist anymore!"

This attraction no longer exist, except in memories as the location has been converted into a Delhi Metro station. The owners are however, coming up with a new park at Gurgaon, just next to the Huda City.

"Good day with family."

  • 5.5/7

Full day entertainment with family!! A lot of rides to entertain all age group. Don't miss the monster house. It was brilliantly made, I actually got scared. The toy train takes on a ride of the complete park which is a unique thing about this amusement park which I never found in any park!! The other attraction which I liked was the boating, bumper cars, pendulum boat and Go Karting.
