About Arambol Beach

voted as clean

Arambol Beach, which is also known as Harmal Beach, is one of the most famous beaches in North Goa. This beach lies between Mandrem and Kalacha beach, which respectively lie towards south and north. The beach is basically a 16 km long stretch of soft white sand.

Several shacks and rocky outcroppings can be seen towards the north of the beach. From northern end of the beach, a narrow path leads to Kalacha beach. This path is lined with stalls selling handicrafts, souvenirs and garments, on both sides.

"Nice and clean beach"

  • 5.0/7
  • Posted Dec 6, 2016
Arambol beach is a nice and relaxed place to be. There are a lot of people on the weekends, and it can get dirty. Also a lot of Foreign tourists or you can call them hippie lying on the beach.
One of the few best beach in Goa. A small lake is also there but you have to walk to reach there

"Destressing"

  • 5.5/7
  • Posted Nov 12, 2016
Arambol was the last beach we visited in the North Goa beach hopping spree. Being diwali it was a little dotted with people but yet quite sparsely crowded compared to the more popular Calangute. The cute cliffs at the horizons adda distinct touch to the views here at sunset. The place offers you the chance to sit back and gaze at the waters as you sip your beers. There are ample beach restos here, serving fresh catches and drinks. There are couple of live tandoor spots as well and they dish the fish right there for you. We found the food pricing at 75% of the pricing at Baga / Calangute or Anjuna. Also the quality of the food was great. It was a great evening spent with fireworks in the skies. Totally recommend for a warm time with friends.

"Peaceful in North-Goa"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted May 13, 2016
This beach at North Goa can be considered as peaceful beaches with much less crowd yet with a beautiful looks and stunning water. It's not clean as Baga but it's okay if you want peace. Foreigners tend to choose these beaches mainly because it's peaceful and they have everything they wanted nearby itself. Swimming is restricted in some areas of this beach. So always make sure that you are out of danger and don't swim in restricted areas.

"Best beach to relax in such a peace"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Feb 22, 2016
The best place to relax and a place where you will find more Russians than Indians. Sunset is so good. Shacks are also very clean and has a flea market where you can shop. Best place to chill, relax and get a tan. I slept there for more than 3 hours. So what are you waiting for GO PACKING...!!!

"A beach where I get crazy"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Jan 31, 2016
This is the beach where I get Crazy and I wish to be the best version of myself. Arambol, once it was a fishing village in North Goa may be considered extreme North Goan Beach, situated in Pernem about 30 Km from Anjuna which takes just half an hour to reach, since than it was hosting the visitors and all basic facilities were provided. Though it is less commercial beach but very much popular among the foreign tourists. This is the gateway for Kalacha Beach and which is famous for its sweet water and warm water springs. Here hills are used for paragliding. A holy cross on top of a knoll, seems to be a demarcation. Laughing Buddha a famous Beach Shack and for Beach Huts, serving fresh seafood and beverages, Rainbow Inn, Residensea are quite enough to serve the quality food in Goan Tradition. This beach is very peaceful and as we know that the beach is not a place to work, just to read, write or to think and rejuvenate your body with saline water and tanned it, in the Sun, beach shacks will fulfil your requirements of food and beverage.

"Each beach have the separate attraction"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Dec 2, 2015
The fragrance of each flower is separated, just as each beach have the separate attraction, one among all beaches of Goa, is the Arambol Beach, which was a traditional fishermen village, and 30KM away from Anjuna Bardez, and 50Km from The Capital Panji, it is coming in the District Pernem, and it gives the feel of Czek's beaches. It is the most beautiful beach, attracts for Sun Bath and sea bath, hence it attracts the the many alternative travelers from all over the world. It does not have good or major hotels in its surroundings, but beach cafe serve well, beaches easy chairs, umbrellas and safety remains on top, as lifeguards are deployed to monitor and for warnings, creating a safe zone, by putting flags on. This beach attracts to all and especially the beach lovers.

"A nice secluded place"

  • 5.0/7
  • Posted Nov 14, 2015
We were looking for a nice place to stay in Goa after having explored nearly all of it over the last few years. Arambol is a nice secluded beach with plenty of good eateries around. Do give it a try!
