Overall experience at the home-stay was satisfactory. It is little away from the town. Got a good view of the locality and I am much impressed by the stay over there. Food and other services are also good. Little choice of food variety makes me a little awkward.

The hotel was conveniently located. We didnít face difficulty in reaching the hotel. The hotel was far from the airport. The staffís behaviour was very good. We didnít face any issues with the room service and food service. The check-in and check-out procedure was done on time. The interior appearance of the hotel was average, but the exterior appearance was very good. The cottage was neat and clean. I had a hill view from the cottage. The food quality of the hotel was very nice. Extra activities were not there in the hotel. The hotel provided transport facility. It was a relaxing trip with a family. The overall destination was valued for the money. I will suggest that they should improve the bathroom.

The hotel was amazing, overall the experience was good. Hotel was conveniently located, and there was no difficulty in tracing the location of the hotel. The best part was the food, ambience, and the rooms were too good. The interior was well-maintained, the hotel was completely in western style. The quality of food was excellent. We enjoyed the coconut rice a lot. The rooms were spacious, neat and cleaned. Rooms had all basic amenities and were in good working condition, there was a view of mountain from the room. The service people were professional and were very friendly and were very quick to the request. There have many indoor activities where we can enjoy our trip.

The location was convenient but the hotel was far from the city. The hotel had old look. The check-in and check-out process was done peacefully. The quality and variety of food was good in the hotel. The hotel had provided us breakfast. The staff was good. They were friendly and helpful. I had mountain view from the hotel. The room was neat and clean and had some amenities with working condition. The hotel was value for money. I'll surely recommend other travellers to visit this hotel and have a stay.

Complimentary breakfast with buffet was served with more varieties, the quality and taste of the food was excellent and they provided north, south Indian and Kerala food varieties with ice cream. Conveniently located with good hospitality. There were 3 types of rooms, which was I stayed room tariff was around Rs. 2200 per day and room was spacious, neat and well maintained with good working basic amenities. It was located in a beautiful location with pleasant near to the waterfalls and hotel surrounded by tea estate. Staff were good, polite, professional and very caring and cooperative. I went here with friends for relaxation in September 2014 and my native place is Erode. There were activities like campfire and they arranged a vehicle for sightseeing places with a guide and they are given a map for sightseeing places in Munnar. There was no proper road to this place, it was inconvenient, so they should have main road facility. The hotel room tariff was value for money and it was recommendable to others.

The hotel is really good for family stay the staff is polite and cooperative. The location is very convenient since it is close to railways and bus stand. The appearance was really awesome and services were excellent. The room allotted was spacious and beautifully maintained with all the required amenities. The food served in the hotel was really nice and delicious. The hotel had some activities arranged which were good enough to enjoy. I liked everything in this hotel. Staff behavior was helpful and cooperative. There was only problem of Hindi channels in the cable. I faced no problem during check-in and check-out facility. Rooms were spacious, neat, clean, and well-maintained. Hotel price was reasonable. We paid Rs. 4000 a night. Hotel was totally money worth. Hotel is definitely recommendable for other travelers. I went there with my family and it was a sightseeing trip in 2013.

The location of the hotel was decent and convenient. The food was average in quality and taste. The appearance of the hotel was decorated. The room was well maintained with all the appliances in good conditions. There were no indoor and outdoor games. There was a good parking facility. The check-in and check-out procedure was prompt. I would suggest improving some refreshing activities. The money spent on the hotel was worth paid and I would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

We had stayed at Aranyaka homestay a part of Aranyaka resorts. It is a 2 mins walk from the resort. It's very spacious has a separate dining area with a big size dining table. The living room is also big and spacious. Both the bedrooms are of average size with attached bathroom. The view outside is exceptional. At times you find yourself among the mist. But has a few drawback as it is not as par to the resort, doesn't appear to be a part of the Aranyaka resort. Secondly they lack security there. You are all alone out there among the trees and valley.

There is a waterfall just opposite to the resort and can also be seen from the dining area, it's very pleasant to watch. The food is good and the dining area is also clean and well maintained. There is still some construction work going on inside. The resort some new apartments coming up. May be they will come up with some new upgrades. All in all a nice and wonderful stay.

The target was a hill station and that has to be Munnar. It was a long lost plan and after almost 4 year of belated planning, the chance finally came for us to visit Munnar. I was fortunate enough to get the reference of this resort from some other hotel, which eventually was not available. Hence, we were little skeptical about the stay but with a lots of confusion in my mind, I started following up and researched the reviews on this resort, which were better than average in the online archives.

I called them up and enquired. They were pleasant enough to speak in detail with patience and there were not a single call from me which got unanswered. The first experience was good. So, I decided to book one of the home stay in the resort for my family.

Since our trip was an extremely planned and strategized one, I had a series of conversations with their staff to understand the minute details of Munnar make the trip really a worthy one. After all, it was a 3 day and two nights visit and every minute was necessary to be spent with a value in return. The hotel staff helped us in getting whatever information they could get for us regarding sightseeing, places, locations, facilities, travel info and all those was nice much before even landing in the place.

We reached Munnar by train on 24th January early morning and there was the driver waiting for us - I could not understand how he could recognize us even though we were meeting the very first time. He drove us pleasantly through the "gods own country" for over 3 hours and stopped 3 places for sight-seeing near beautiful waterfalls. The water falls' beauty took away all the tiredness from us.

And, then we landed in the 'Heaven' of Munnar - The Aranyaka Resorts. It was a set of nicely drawn scenic series of houses separated from each other with lots of landscape and we grabbed the one booked for us. My kid was busy on the massage chair and I along with my wife just roamed around. There were sceneries all over the place. In fact, if you just walk as little as 100 mts from the home stay, you can sight the extreme beautiful water fall just a little farther from within the tea garden and, believe me, we 3 of us were staying in that beautiful place - me, my wife and the nature. You cannot think anything beyond that - just imagine and experience it out when you be there.

The hotel staff was extremely courteous and arranged daily sightseeing trips on a taxi for us and we could visit more than expected and more than the desired place of visit to remote areas. The guidance of the driver called 'Ganesh' and his knowledge on the sights was A+.

Moreover, it was a marvellous trip and all that was because of the hospitality provided by the Aranyaka Resorts staff and owners. I recommend couples, family and even bachelors to visit the place and enjoy their trip to Munnar anytime they prefer.

The following advice would be handy when you are in Munnar though (which obviously the resorts' staff would explain you during your trips):
1. Avoid visiting the gardens with various types of trees - it's a waste of time.
2. Avoid taking trips from local travels - prefer the ones from hotel - they know it better and will be helpful as guides as well.
3. No need to take any other guides
4. Visit for "Kalaripayattu" - the kerala martial arts - that will be mind boggling
5. Do not eat too much while travelling in taxi - because of the up and down route in mountains, you may feel sick.
6. Last but not the least; enjoy the walk for a while on the curvy roads, if you travel during Jan/Feb, which could be a pleasant time to visit.
7. If you want to experience the mist, then you could visit there just after the rains and before the winter.

Well, I wish there is another chance for my entire family to visit there again and, this time, I would take my friends and other family members along with me. We would stay there for some more days and enjoy the hospitality of the locals out there. Do a bit of trekking and cycling. We would like to visit there during the winter and get lost within the heavenly mists all around the hill station.
