Ardhnareshwar temple is an important Lord Shiva shrine which portrays the composite form of half man and half woman of Lord Shiva. It is one of the very few temples in India having such an idol that signifies the ideology of Ardhnareshwara. The temple is renovated and maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
