Arpora, known for its small beaches, is located a few kilometres away from Bardez. Travellers at Arpora, can view various fishermen catching crabs, prawns, fishes, tiger prawns and oysters.
Sankavaddi Temple is one of the famous attractions of this place and is visited by a large number of devotees and travellers. St. Joseph High School, constructed in 1886 by Brother William Robert Lyons is another prominent tourist attraction.
The famous feast of St. Sebastian that attracts a lot of tourists is held in the month of January. Hindus Dhalo celebrations also take place on the same night as the feast.
