The Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Temple is devoted to Lord Subramanian and is located in Sivanmalai, around 25 km away from Tirupur. This temple is constructed on the Sivanmalai hillock and can be reached by climbing around 200 steps. The temple has an idol of Lord Subramanian, the presiding deity, along with idols of Valli and Deivayanai.
As per a legend, a spiritual man dreamt of Lord Subramanian asking for various offerings like gold chains, silver coins, movable and immovable things. Since then, the tradition of offering these items is prevalent in this temple. Main festivals celebrated in this temple are the Panguni Uthiram, Skanda Shasti and Thaipoosam.
