"Good food"

As I put my comments on Facebook, that morning, its not very often that you get the luxury of "...waking up to the symphony of cock a doodle do, morning prayers from distant mosque, donkey brays and a cacophony of massive variety of birds and chirping squirrels." We reached this place in the forenoon, and before day end, the thought crossed my mind that we have got more than our money's worth already. This is the place to be if you are a serious wildlife enthusiast. But be careful, and Mrs. Malik, the owner's wife will justly warn you too, of cacophonous tourists sharing the jeep to safari - they could and would scare asses away !!

Best Experience: Several - the typical "kutchhi food fare" laid out that afternoon and for dinner was almost home cooked. Mrs. Malik personally oversees the preparations and servings, making you feel a part of the family. The huts are just fantastic. Clean, sturdy and yet a typical hut. And yes equipped with CLEAN washrooms. Mr. Malik the owner himself a wildlife expert is doing a tremendous benevolent act of using the funds we tourists spend at his resort, in bringing up poor children and women from the salt pans. A visit is worth more than just satisfying wildlife enthusiasts if one wants to work with the needy for benevolent causes. Here's a great opportunity of giving back to the society as simply as being with the people here and making them feel important and wanted.

Worst Experience: Not at all . Except if I had a bit more information about what to expect, we may have planned to stay longer.
