The Ashokan Inscription and rock-cut cave is located on the Chandan Shaheed Hill near the Chand-Tan-Pir. These are ancient rock cut caves locally called as Chirag-Dan. Their most significant feature is an inscription of 8 lines written on its walls in Archaic Brahmi Characters.
