About Ashtabhuji Devi Temple

Ashtabhuji Devi Temple is located on the top of the Vindhya ranges and has a historical significance. Local inhabitants believe that a girl child, who was born to Devaki and Vasudeva, escaped from Kansa and started residing in these mountain ranges.

A temple located inside a cave has been dedicated to the Ashtabhuji Devi, who is also considered to be an incarnation of Goddess Parvati. This temple is situated about three kilometres from Vindhyavasini Devi Temple and can be reached easily from Mirzapur.
