I had visited this hotel with my family. The check in and checkout was not delayed. All amenities were working condition in the room. The food was good with quality and quantity. The parking facility was good. There were no activities arranged by this hotel.
I had stayed in this hotel in the month of May 2016 and the hotel location is near by the road. The interior and exterior of the hotel was good and maintained neat. I visited to the hotel with my family and the services provide by the hoteliers was very good. The room was maintained clean and the food served by the hoteliers was good. I did not find other activities conducted in the hotel.
We went for the purpose of visiting Alleppey, which is world famous for its backwaters, me, my mom and dad. We were looking for an affordable place. This offered one, with roughly Rs. 1400 being the cost per night. We stayed here for 2 nights Since, this is a homestay so please do not expect any royal hospitality. The location of homestay is pretty unimpressive - inside very small lanes. The front end of the homestay is also unimpressive. It looks like any normal house However, the hosts here are very friendly and would act as guides in touring Alleppey and will tell with all patience and warmth about the activities which could be done in Alleppey like the type and place for taking a ferry and the best way to spend your time here in this cost or slightly more, I believe we could have booked a hotel which would have provided us the feel that we are out there touring. Though this varies from one person to another depending on their preference Overall, I would like to say that it was a pleasant stay here at affordable places in a home like condition.
The whole purpose of travellers visiting Allepey is to enjoy the house boats and the experience. We wanted to stay in the main land as we were not comfortable spending the entire night floating over the water. And hence we came across the Ashtamudi Home stay, the first look prompted us to take a room in the ground floor, but the moment we saw the bamboo rooms on the terrace, it just gave us the right feel and get the bamboo hut experience over the terrace. Overall service is good; the decor of the rooms and the entire experience is very nice.
It's a homestay I had booked for and it was located nearby the city and had no difficulties finding it. The appearance of the home was not that good but an average look. The staff were very good and professional. Rooms were good and well maintained with all the basic amenities. But there is no food facility provided. Indoor games were conducted as an activity for the visitors. No delay in check-in and checkout procedure. It was a relaxation trip with my family and I would recommend other traveller. The destination was a good value for the money.
It was like I was in my home. It was family like place. Food was awesome. After having 10 days intense trip to South India I found this place really relaxing. AC is fantastic. Toilets are clean. And name home stay truly justified. I love to visit again. Hope we will again get that beautiful reception by them.
We stayed two evenings here and would have wanted to stay for additional. The proprietors are extremely inviting with bathroom tissue, cleanser and a jug of water integral upon entry. Basic, honest, home remain. Web lives up to expectations okay. Near to shops and houseboats. They have a houseboat also. We would have wanted to take it yet are going with a tyke and it sometimes fell short for us. Would have no issues staying here once more. Cherished it. They are exceptionally open to visiting and giving tips on the best attractions and nearby eateries to visit! We had an upstairs bamboo room with connected washroom which was exceptionally pleasant and had a mosquito net too. An abundance of thanks and would like to see you again As a financial plan in its stunning worth for cash and I definitely recommend it!
