Good hospitality and swimming pool facing rooms

Posted 27 Feb, 2015

It is the resort run by ex-chef of Taj. The food and hospitality of Hiraji and Ahwini is very good. Felt like home by their warmness. The best part is the cleanliness and warmth of owners. Room Swimming pool facing rooms are very nice, the view will be super.

Needs a general improvement overall

Posted 21 Nov, 2014

The scenery is quite good and it is a nice place to be away from the city. The accommodation and the food was simple and pleasant. A must visit for all nature lovers and quiet beach lovers. The service and the hospitality could have been a bit better. Also hygiene in terms of general cleanliness can be improved.

Clean A/C rooms and courteous staff

Posted 26 Jul, 2014

The resort was full of greenery and had an orchard inside. It also had a small swimming pool to cool off the heat. You feel the nature and can forget all your tensions. The room was very clean and the A/C was very effective. The decor was rustic and felt very nice. The staff was also very courteous and we bought many delicacies as well as fresh vegetables from there. You can sit outside on the couch and enjoy the nature around you.

Services are very homely, Staff cares alot.

Posted 5 Apr, 2014

This place is simply AWESOME! It is a HEAVEN on earth. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, just 130 km away from Mumbai. One of the most crowded and noisy cities. The services are very homely. The staff cares for their customer, a lot. Everyone needs were fulfilled in timely manner and housekeeping service was simply amazing Restaurant is in beautiful open space from where we can enjoy food as well as the natural view. The food is amazing and comparatively much inexpensive. Specially the "Chikoo Pickle". The swimming pool is located in such a place, from where we can have beautiful view of "mountains" and "chikoo wadi". If anyone want take a break from their hectic life and experience the peaceful heavenly feeling, I strongly recommend this "Ashwini Garden Resort".

Nice experience

Posted 9 Apr, 2012

we are the frequent travellers to bordi ,as its nearest destination to mumbai.on the last trip while driving in area called borigaon we happen to discover this low profile place called ashwini garden with the simple board in marathi.beyond the gate we saw lush green patch of banana plantation.just to see it we entered , as my little boy wanted to see how bananas grow.we had no planning to stay here ,as had already booked ourselves at hotel in bordi near the beach. but after seeing the vegetable plantations, the dinning area, swimming pool (covered ),well kept rooms ,and clean bath rooms and ATV,s wow!.we stayed at our hotel which was booked but extended our holiday by two days to stay here.we had a paeceful and rejuvenating stay.thanks

First request to HolidayIQ to upgrade the photographs and facility list of Ashwini Garden as what you see on the IQ website is century old photographs. It is a one point destination for break as it is near to Mumbai. Excellent drive from Mumbai (2hrs and Half). When enter the gate of ashwini garden you enter in different, peaceful, clean, happy environment. You name it they have everything for your entertainment . Me and my wife enjoyed every moment as the have games, very clean swimming pool, execellent rooms, and super clean bathrooms . Food is out of the world. We extended our stay for one more day . I have stayed in all hotels but this one is best in bordi.
