I was with my family, parents and in laws for a religious ceremony at Mookambika Temple. Had a bad time in the hotel since our expectations were high. The rooms were very hot and untidy. We had to keep on complaining about the lights and television. Bathrooms were not clean. The help from the hotel staff was commendable. No proper parking facilities available. There is no lift facilities even. Hotel is located far from the temple and each time you have to take your car out or to hire an auto rickshaw to the temple which is not practical always. There is no restaurant nearby the hotel, but they provides morning and evening tea. Not at all recommended for a group stay.

The hotel was conveniently located and no difficulty to find hotel and it was nearer from bus stop. The staff were very friendly and well-mannered and there was no delay in check in and checkout time. The hotel appearance was average. Rooms were spacious, neat and clean. There was no view from the room and AC, TV, geyser everything were functioning properly. The food which I had there was good but there were limited varieties to choose from. There were no activities provided by the hotel and the hotel has a limited parking area and we did not need sightseeing trip facility. Overall it was value for the money.

My overall experience of the hotel was comfortable. Food was tasty. Both varieties were available like veg and non-veg. Location of the hotel was fantastic. Hotel was situated near the bus stop. Inner and outer look of the hotel was fabulous. There was no delay in check-in and check-out. Booking and front office was superb. Services were below average. Rooms were neat and clean. Nothing was available in activities. I travelled there with my family for relaxation in October 2011. It is a recommendable hotel for travellers. Kollur place is excellent for travel.

The a/c room has only window air conditioners with insufficient capacity for the rooms. Also, the longest walkable distance to the temple, which makes it very difficult for aged people to visit the temple to and fro. There is no restaurant attached to the hotel. Service is very average. Please take care before booking.

I occupied three non a/c rooms and stayed there for one day and one night with my family members. Hotel is not nearby, but within walkable distance (less than 1 km) from the Mookambika temple. I never felt a friendly approach from the reception, but co-operative. The rooms are of different type. One of our room has no television, the other room was with very slow fan. Two rooms have good air circulation, but one had air tight. There is no restaurant in and nearby the hotel and one has to go to near the temple. I had not found the lift.

In terms of cost wise one can adjust. If the team consists elderly people, do not select this hotel. They can improve much better, if they desires.

Affordable, clean and peaceful. Though the hotel is away from temple, have good access through auto. Hotel staff helps to call auto to hotel if approached. Food is not available at this hotel. Advance booking available through online and is worth for the money.

The area of the Aswathi tourist home was very nice. The co-operation of the all hotel staff was very fine. The room was very clean but the bath room was average and the room space was poor. The service of the room boy was very good. Overall that was a good experience and nice trip.

The hotel was OK..the environment was nice...It would have been nice if they served food (room service) also..It was somewhat far way from temple...Felt it was costlier compared to other hotels in Kollur.you can also approach new hotel which was about to open..not remember the name but it looks good from outside...

Good and enjoyable with family. The Mookambika darsan was unforgettable,we stayed till the last pooja and \'Seeveli\',when the goddess went for sleep.Nice surroundings except the climate.

Best Experience: Feeding fishes at Souparnika river for the kids

Worst Experience: Walking long way to the hotel & back without getting any vehicles
