The Hotel is about 6 KM from Munnar boon docks and it's not appropriate to break in this Hotel if you do not accept your own car or carriage arrangements. If I complained that there is no hot baptise and no table in the allowance to accumulate any commodity and even the TV was not alive, appropriately he asked us to leave the Hotel if not annoyed after assuming any hospitality The Hotel lacked basal amenities and does not deserve the bulk which I paid. It is abroad from the town, cher and actual poor maintenance. The apartment are actually small. The Hotel has a rooftop restaurant, which is on the college ancillary on the amount if compared adjoin the alignment superior and ambience. I feel the adjacent Hotel Las Palmas looks bigger as I have apparent abounding travellers blockage in Las Palmas compared to Autumn Trees. It's bigger to abstain this Hotel and attending for added bigger options.
Bus stop was very far away from Munnar that was the main problem to reach there. It was not a good communication. Staff was okay there. They were quick to attend to all our requests. I was happy with the room allotted. There was no delay in check-in and check-out time. Everything was fine but food was not good there. It was North Indian but taste wise it was not good. I did not like it. Price wise, it was good. It was a multi-cuisine restaurant. No view was visible from the room. No activity was there. It was a low budget hotel. Hotel was value for money. It was a relaxation trip with friends. Destination wise, it was average. Location of the hotel was below average. Appearance of the hotel was also below average. Booking and front office people were average. Services of the staff were also average. Room and its facilities were below average. Food and drink was bad.
The hotel is conveniently located and it was little bit away from bus stand. The staff members at the hotel were courteous and helpful in service. It was a group visit with my friends and we had a great time here. The room allotted to me was spacious and well maintained with required amenities functioning properly. The only problem we faced was we did not get hot water supply but overall our experience was fantastic and the destination is really good to visit for adventure and enjoyment.
The hotel is conveniently located and I have not found any difficulty to find. Staff behaviour was helpful. The external and internal appearance of the hotel was good. Rooms were spacious neat and clean maintained and I took standard rooms. Food was good and unlimited in menu. There is no delay with check-in and check-out process. I visited for relaxation purpose with family. There are no activities organized by hotel. We went by own vehicles for sightseeing. It is value for the money and I would like to recommend to other travellers, no suggestion.
The hotel experience was not good and the external was good but internal appearance was not good. Inconveniently located and not provided cab facility. There is no delay with check-in and check-out process. The room condition was not good and not maintained clean. I have food in hotel and quality was good provided our request food. It was a honeymoon trip and I had visited this hotel in the month of October 2012. There are no activities or sightseeing trip organized by hotel. They provided TV facility in room. The money spent in the hotel was average and I do not recommend. My suggestion to this hotel is they should improve the room condition.
Hotel appearance is so good. Lunch, dinner all things are very good. I thought that in Kerala(Munnar) it will be difficult to get good food but Autumn trees made this possible. A good Place between so much greenery I haven't seen till now anywhere. Every person should visit this place.
It's an average hotel. It's not suitable for those who like to stay in a room for a long time. It's only apt for one who wishes to stay outside for the whole day to enjoy excellent atmosphere, location and scenic view of Munnar and just needs a room to relax at night. Munnar is an excellent place to visit, especially for tea lovers and nature lovers.
Hotel was very shabby. Their is no hospitality. Rooms were not to our expectations. Canteen facility was very horrible. Totally this was not the hotel to enjoy, as Munnar is a beautiful place with lot of tea estate and good scenery but bad hotel but the place is too good. Please try to rectify the hotel service.
I don\'t know how Express the situation, The place where the hotel situated was Good. Roomservice was tollaly bad , I couldn\'t express about the room the blanket and the sheets where smelly. For car parking they usted FIFO method, (First in First Parking) only around 3 cars we can park there, and the rest gave to park in the street
Good experience: it was booked at the last minute: location good and scenery beautiful. Reasonable terrifyingly a few food available out of plenty listed in the menu. Breakfast (complementary) was excellent and the dinner neither good nor worthy. Service good; inadequately staffed; In terms of Cleanliness they have to focus more.
Just okay for budget hotel
An average hotel. Definitely not value for money. Rooms: Standard rooms cost 800 rs and \'Deluxe\' ones cost 950 rs. However the difference between the two is only of a couple of square feets. Both rooms have the wash basin built in the room (not in the bathroom). Both, in my opinion, are overpriced. I guess Munnar is generally expensive (and overbooked) during peak season. The last time I was in Munnar the town was similarly costly. The hotel is built on a slope, with the price of the rooms going up with the floors of the rooms. Hence these two types of rooms are practically in the \'basement\' of the building offering a view of a heap of rubble and the next resort. Probably the higher rooms offer a better view of Devikulam (where the hotel is located). By the way there is no elevator in the hotel. Amenities: Toileteries were very limited in my opinion. Only one towel was given in spite of two guests occupying the room (\'climate of munnar\' was the reason cited for this absurd behaviour). Hot water was coming on the first day but the geyser/cylinder went out of service the next morning. Hence our sight seeing got delayed by one and half hours. They tried to repair the system despite our requests to bring hot water buckets from elsewhere, which they ultimately did, after wasting a good amount of time. The room was ok in terms of cleanliness but their bathrooms were not exactly sparkling clean. We did get a new year card at the end though. Service: The staff was generally cooperative, not too efficient, but not too slow either. The reception is understaffed, and few of our calls in the morning went unanswered. Our queries (especially travel related) were answered well though. They do have arrangements for taxis/pickups but due to their location (5 km from Munnar) they don\'t come cheap. One day taxi booking for sight seeing can be done for 1200 rs (season) and around 1000 rs in off season. SUVs cost a little more. Room service was average. No repeated reminders were required and the morning tea was available after 7 am. Restaurant: Their top storey restaurant is aptly called \'tree top\'. It was a much more pleasant experience compared to the hotel. The menu had a good variety. The food quality was superb. We could make out the taste of distinct spices that were definitely from the local market. The cost was also fair, when viewed in the light of Munnar\'s standards. The ambience was good. We were able to watch our favorite TV channel while dining. The waiters and the management were more courteous than the hotel staff. Location: The hotel is situated on the Munnar-Devikulam road (When you proceed towards Thekkady/Madurai from Munnar), around 5 kms from Munnar. The surrounding forests offer a brilliant view. It is peaceful and quiet compared to the noise of Munnar\'s main market place. The negative is that it is a little away from Munnar hence extra bucks are to be shelled for transfer. The resort is flanked by two other resorts, hence the view is not exactly a virgin one. My overall experience in this hotel was more or less forgettable, and I won\'t recommend this hotel as a first choice. We went in the peak season and had not much choice as many hotels were already booked, and we didn\'t want to take a risk.
Below listed are the pros and cons, decide yourself. I have to list the cons under worst, but they are definitely not the worst.
Hotel is neat and small but more than 6 km from Munnar (it is in Devikulam). OK if you your own transport. Food is good but service is slow and staff inexperienced eg.(a) I had to tell them to keep tongs for picking-up parotas , Dosas from container during breakfast and (b) ask for separate towels for self and wife.
