this was my first trip where i gone alone for 4 days and don\'t feel lonely b\'coz resort was too good and staff of activity room and all are excellent

Overall experience was excellent. At night doon valley view from the hotel was awesome.

Best Experience: Walking on the Mall, horse riding.

Worst Experience: Height of the hotel.....really horrible when you are self driving.

It was nice, except the accessibility to the dining area from the rooms. Since the rooms were at the hilltop, coming down to the dining area everytime was a little cumbersome and reuired calling for a cab.

I had a great experience, Mussuri Avolon the resort, the room was great and the Born-Good overall view was that much of the Mussouri, Avolon Mussouri at the top. It looks pretty good the whole Mussouri.

About Avalon Holiday Resort

Avalon is set amidst mountain ranges of Himalayas, located on the slopes of Gun Hill in Mussoorie. Gun Hill got its name because in the earlier days, a gun used to be fired from this hill at 12:00 noon to denote the time. The Avalon has studios, one bedroom units, two bedroom units and three bedroom units to choose from for accommodation and has a host of indoor and outdoor activities on offer.

Rooms & Amenities

The Resort has studios, one bedroom units, two bedroom units and three bedroom units on offer � 53 cottages in all. The studio apartment can accommodate 3 adults and is equipped with a kitchenette, a sofa cum bed, a double bed, telephone & CCTV. The single bedroom apartment unit features all of the above + a drawing-cum-dining room. The double bedroom apartment is 1050 sq ft and suits 6 adults. All rooms have carpeted wooden floors and are provided with room heaters. Facilities include multi-cuisine restaurant, an indoor pool and indoor amenities like health club and spa, games room, TV Room & Reading Room. Amenities: laundry, cable television, & Doctor on call. Credit cards accepted.
