Baga beach, Goa is one of the beta beach nearby Calangute beach. People visit here for party life, night life and water sports. I and my friends also enjoyed a lot. So I shall suggest people to visit from 4pm in the evening and then return after 11pm in late if you are party lovers.

When relaxation and rejuvenation are on the mind, then just one thing comes in my mind transparent water, sparkling sand, golden sun kissed beach and this beach offers all these to you. It is an ideal place to chill out with family, besides relaxing environment it offers exciting water sports as well. Moreover, the beachfront lane is lined with bustling shops, cafes, and restaurants offering sumptuous seafood. So, you can relax, rejuvenate, indulge in activities like Diving, swimming, massage, windsurfing, paragliding, scuba diving and not to miss shop as well... So explore go and get rejuvenated.

"Classic case of quantity but no quality !!"

  • 2.5/7
  • Posted Sep 22, 2016
It feels more like a village carnival than a beach. No tranquility, no peace, just a lot of people trying to soak in the atmosphere and lots of shacks to cater to all these people. We started to walk from one end of the beach to the other, which is a distance of less than 1 km, and were greeted with a pungent odour right at the beginning where the famed St. Anthony's Karaoke restaurant is situated. I don't really know how is it considered too different from the other shacks at this beach, except that it is a bit larger and right where the entry to the beach is. However, I didn't really spend too much time there to rate it fairly. Anyways, coming back to the beach, you can keep walking and keep crossing hoards of people and many shacks, all having some servicemen luring you to their shack with words or gestures. I'm not a racist but somehow I've noticed a lot of Bengali (perhaps Bangladeshi) people serving people in shacks here. Some might even come up close to you and ask "what do you need? ", A feeling with which people who have been to Palika Bazaar in CP, New Delhi, are not unaware with. Too many shacks too many people. Classic case of quantity but not much quality. In short this beach is just the opposite of Anjuna or Ashvem or for that matter any peaceful and clean beach. If you want "special" services or love overcrowded places, then this is the place for you. P. S. We went in the so called off season (imagine the scenario during peak season) !!

"Beautiful beach but crowded"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted May 13, 2016
This beach is so close to the Calangute beach and both these beaches are almost like the same and comes in the same stretch. This beach is very clean and the water is very clear and since the water is shallow here, you can walk into the sea and enjoy playing with water. Also, swimming is so fun in this beach. The entire place is quite clean and it contains lot of desks to take rest with umbrellas on all of them. Also, there are lot of options for water sports here but Water scooter, parasailing and banana ride is the best in this beach. There are lot of shops nearby this beach which adds lot of options for shopping and lot if resorts are available close to the beach which attracts lot of foreign tourists as well. Though it's a fantastic beach, it will be heavily crowded and it won't be that fun if we are not in groups and we need some peace.

"Clean and crowded beach"

  • 6.0/7

This beach is a pretty clean beach and the beach sand looks pretty clean and water is so clear. There's a small valley also nearby this beach which adds beauty to this beach. It's good for water sports and for having fun with friends but not for peace lovers.

"It's quite heavy and rush here"

  • 4.0/7
  • Posted Mar 14, 2016
This Beach is one of the famous Beach around in Goa. It got many water activities once we arrive into the site. It is better to go around the sides of the main location as in the middle location, it will be like a festival rush. The water here is very salty and can stain marks on our clothes.

"This place/beach never sleeps"

  • 7.0/7
  • Posted Mar 8, 2016
This place is great, even if you go there at morning 6 it will be still crowded with full of people, parties, clubs, disco bars at the Titos Lane. The beach will be filled with shacks, food courts, music, dance and more and more. I would recommend going to Baga at nights. Baga is one of the beautiful and best beach in Goa.

But if you don't want crowd then please stay away :)
