Hotel Review of Sun Village
Comments: Sun Village is a cute resort neatly tucked away from the busy Baga - Calangute area but not too far away. The resort is situated on the Baga Arpora are near the backwaters and about 2- 3kms from Baga beach. So if you rent a bike or car then moving about isn't a problem at all.
Best Experience: Since the resort is bit away from the beach its not as crowded and the environment is very peaceful.. their rooms & pools are very clean and nice
Worst Experience: The restaurant isn't so great especially during off season.. their food taste is not upto the mark especially for the prices they charge. You are better off eating at one of the popular joints like Brittos or Suza Lobos in Baga and Calangute. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant.

I had been to goa, sun village last year with my family, I had a memorabel stay at this resort because of mainly the hospitality, ambience of the hotel and most important the food, and specially the way they were serving on the poolside was simply mind blowing. I would recommend everybody especially my friends. Cheers to Sun Village....

The sun village itself is very exotic. But we were very uncomfortable being surrounded by foreigners.Somehow I felt I was like a 2nd citizen in my own country.Especially while using the pool,we were very reluctant to get in among the sea of whites. For that matter the whole of Goa seems to cater the whites needs than ours. For a moment I thought I was on some foregn land.I wanted to watch the IND/Bangladesh match on a weekend and none of the bars...

Ever been to an apartment studio with kitchenette? Do you expect to be provided with salt and sugar? Well, don't expect in this resort. They not only do not provide it but are down right rude if you ask for some and want to charge you for it. The resort is beautifully done up. The living room of the studio apartment is a trite small. Food is decent and presented well and they do have multiple restaurants. The beach isn't close...

The village around this resort is very picturesque. The food (all the varieties) is excellent and the staff is very polite & understanding. The rooms are good, no one disturbs you here & the balconies offer an excellent view of the mountains, village & the pool. there is a lot to do at the resort itself. The garden on the roof-top offers the best view & is well maintained. Best thing about this resort is that both Mapusa and Panaji...
