Bajreshwari Temple is located in the middle of Kangra town 20 km away from Dharamsala. This thousand-year-old temple is dedicated to Bajreshwari Maa, the Goddess of Lightning. The Temple with legendary riches was looted by invaders many times. The original temple was damaged in an earthquake in 1905 and was rebuilt in 1920. Many devotees visit this shrine daily, as it is one of the fifty-one Shaktipeethas of the country.
The Temple is constructed in a Shikhara style in stone. The unique feature of Bajreshwari temple is that there are three tombs inside the temple. During Lohri festival many devotees visit the shrine to seek the blessings of the Goddess when the idol will be completely covered with butter.

"It is broke down by earthquake"

This temple is located in old Kangra township, it is building of Sati broke down in earthquake but it was rebuilt by Kangra restoration committee, it is a very old temple.

This temple is attraction of Chintpurni, 50 km from Kangra town, it is one of most popular place of Shaktipeeth. It is very famous temple, there are all Northern Hindu people come to this temple and believe.

"Go early morning to avoid rush"

It is famous by the name of Nagarkot Temple. People from very distant place come here to visit this holy Temple. Its better to go early in the morning to avoid heavy rush.

One of the famous temples of goddess Durga, it is situated in the center of city Kangra. Temple is very beautiful with many temples within and main temple of goddess Durga in the centre.
