The Banashankati Temple at Amargol is a centre of attraction of many visitors, mainly due to its structural beauty. This temple, belonging to the 13th century, features Nagara superstructure, with a stepped-diamond style. The temple has one Dravida shrine and one Nagara shrine. Conservation and restoration work of the temple is in progress.
