Best Experience: Room given to us was LEOPARD room...Very decent & clean room...Food was good...service was good too...they have got a sambhar inside their premises....the safari in the open jeeps were very very adventurous....
Worst Experience: our driver RAMESH...was NOT too keen to show the wild life....please avoid 'RAMESH'....

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges Bandipur Safari Lodge
Overall it was a very nice experience to spend time at this resort. The location is not exactly inside the jungle (it is on the highway at a very short distance from the jungle entrance). However, the overall package (Jungle safari, Nature walk) makes up for the same. The typical package is for one night in which you are able to do a safari in the evening and a nature walk in the morning. I would recommend spending at least...

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges Bandipur Safari Lodge
We stayed for two nights at Jungle Lodges. It was most memorable experience for us. The ride to the hotel from Bangalore was not at all strenuous. We were taken in for a surprise to see the quality of the rooms. They were very neat and clean. The hotel takes care of keeping you occupied the whole day. The food is delicious and we relished it since it wasnt all that spicy....

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges Bandipur Safari Lodge
If you are visiting Bandipur National Park, then staying at Jungle lodges is your best bet. Not only it is very conveniently located but foremost the safari provided by Jungle lodges is much much better than the one provided forest department in mini bus. Since I have done both the safaris, let me hightlight the differences. Jungle lodges Safari is done in Jeeps and guides/drivers are very keen in showing you wildlife. Duration of safari will be more than an hour....

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges Bandipur Safari Lodge
Jungle Lodge was the fisrt resort to start operations in Bandipur and they have done a good job. But since then, the Bandipur area alone has around 5-6 resorts. This is too unsustainable for the wildlife sanctuary. The service and food at Bandipur is good, rooms are nice. No complaints. Just that there are too many people visiting the sanctuary that makes it noisy and also spoils the chances of spotting wildlife......

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges Bandipur Safari Lodge
This was my second stay with Jungle Lodges; and definetely, the more enjoyable one. Having visited come forests in Northern India the southern forests have not been able to wow me - not because they have noting to offer - they are as rich and diverse in the flora and fauna - but the tours are too restrictive. 20-30 people huddled in a bus that has been caged on all sides is not my idea of a safari. I got...
