Hotel Review of Tusker Trails
Comments: Staying in Tusker Trail was a very good experience. Resort is located in mid of the jungle (4 km from main road). The last stretch of 20 km road (From Bangalore) is very bad. However once we reach at resort, we forget all that pain. All cottages are neat and spacious, bathroom is not very grand but fit for purpose. The biggest thing which makes this resort different from other jungle resort is its swimming pool, which is normally not on the list of amenities of a jungle resort. The pool is clean and water is just great. Once we were in pool it took all tiredness of journey. Resort also having a baby pool and my 3 years daughter enjoyed a lot in that. Food was delicious although not many dishes on board. There were 2 safaris arranged by resort management (one in evening & another in early morning). It was a very good experience seeing the jungle on its pace. We saw a lot of wild animals. Although we were not very lucky to have a look of tiger but we saw the pugmarks of a baby tiger, which was passed few minutes ago from that road. While I was on my way to morning safari, my wife chosen the tracking and her experience of tracking was very thrilling, walking in the forest along with the fear that any moment you can see any wild animal including tiger was just great. Overall a very satisfying experience.
Best Experience: Jeep Safaris , Food & Overall service at resort.

Hotel Review of Tusker Trails
When we arrived at Tusker Trails, at first hubby & myself where kind of shocked to know that there was on TV , no mobile connectivity and to top it no land line (except at the front office) :-) But I think it was fantastic for a change to be away from the hussle & bussle of city life! The surroundings just perfect , amist Bandipur national park .....

After paying Rs 4000/night you can't expect to stay a more horrible place than this. We kept awake the whole night awake because there were ants everywhere. After the room boys sprayed chemicals, ants dropped from all corner of the room. (This was the case my parents room as well) The location and layout of the lodge is surprisingly uninspiring.
