Hotel Review of Our Native Village
Comments: It was a great experience that helped me and my wife to destress. Just sitting there on the porch of the restaurant seeing the ducks quack and the sun set, was exhilirating
Best Experience: The personal one to one attention by the entire staff led by Mr. Ramkumar. The experience and the knowledge how complex and involved farming is.
Worst Experience: The power went off in the night and for us urban dwellers with a 1 year old daughter it was scary to start with. The telephone line in the room also went dead as it was also on power backup. Need to have some alternate arrangement such as a candle and match box in the room and the suggestion to visitors to carry on torchlights while visiting Native Village

'Our native village' treads off the beaten track; our one day stay gave us a perspective on how much modern housing go against nature's norms. Well the ride was good! The resort is approx. 40 kms from Bangalore city and it was nice to get out of the busy city. Once there though you might feel a bit apprehensive about the whole place. 'Back to Nature' is indeed what you experience at 'Our native Village'...Ol' childhood memories of trips to my dad's village..the games we played during the summer vacations...all came back as a flashback...Trading diff.colours of marbles...Gilli Danda - sharpening the gilli & and roaming around the acres of land to find the perfect 'Danda'..,flying kites...with news papers (no allowance for coloured paper..) all these are what is in store for you at the resort...as part of 'activities'..Rooms are really huge...
