Hotel Review of Woodrich Club
Comments: Our weekend Getaway/picnic to Woodrich was radically entertaining. We had quite a couple of choices before going to this place and after reading several reviews on various resorts; however, we ended up with Woodrich! Well, we were indeed aware of the fact, about a couple of not-so-rosy reviews appearing on this resort. To end with, relying upon their website, we thought we could give a try!
Best Experience: To start with, I would say that the resort is quite good. Most corporate have made it their weekend and personality building venue. You would find a lot of day picnickers coming here. The cottages are worth spending your weekend at! AC ones again, are worth the bucks you shell up on! The staff was quite helpful and the food was not regrettable either. I would rather say, I had a peaceful weekend
Worst Experience: Considering the demerits, I must admit that I just detested one thing. We were asked to dispose our plates from the table after every meal. Now this is essentially something we always do at home or may be for subsidized and free lunches at work. However, it is never a thing to be done at a hotel or a resort, rightly because we pay a fancy price for the food and to spend a night there! In such circum stances the customers would expect a decent treatment, if not royal, and definitely NOT cleaning up their own mess when they disburse an outlay for creating one! Secondly, the guys charged us 4% extra for using our credit card. I agree that these policies were valid until, perhaps, a year back. Of late, there is leeway even from the banks and seldom there is extra for swiping cards, and even if there is, it would be a percent or two on your bill, nevertheless 4%!
Apart from the above flaws, I was contented and happy for the rest of it. This place is suggested if you are looking for a quiet weekend!

Hotel Review of Woodrich Club
The resort was located far away from the main highway (Hyderabad Highway). The access road to the resort was in a very bad shape and the whole area had a deserted look. The resort was surronded by barren farm lands. The resort was in a area which is meant for villas and the nearest tourist spot, Nandi Hills was about 25km. Considering the distance and the road I dropped my plan of going to Nandi Hills. The cottage has standard...

Hotel Review of Woodrich Club
It is a okay sort of place for a 1 day outing. But we went over a weekend, and its not worth it to spend about Rs 800 /day for this. The cottage that we stayed in was tidy, but was very old looking , with very simple flooring and beds. The TV was non-functional. The food was also so-so , and our experience would have been better but for the hordes of picnic parties from various companies were disturbing...

Hotel Review of Woodrich Club
The resort is small and old. The rooms are dirty and smelly. They admit too many day trippers so the minimal facilities available are also crowded. Service is terrible. They allow people into the pool with any costume. The massage/sauna/steam place is grimy/dark and dingy. The food is also not very good. I found and spider floating in the soup. Its a place you would want to go if you want to get sick....
