The overall experince was just ok. There was a lot of disturbance on account of some shooting.

About Basant Vihar Palace

The Basant Vihar Palace, Bikaner, was built by Maharaj Sri Ganga Singhji and later converted to a heritage hotel in 1993. The palace is built of sandstone and provides 21 furnished rooms, including 3 suites. Visits to Junagadh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, camel safaris in to the Thar Desert and Rajasthani music & dance performances are some of the activities the hotel organises.

Rooms & Amenities

All rooms are fitted with A/C, telephone, satellite TV, and mini-bar. Food served includes traditional Rajasthani, Mughlai, Chinese and Continental cuisines. Meals are arranged in the Palace garden, on the rooftop or on sand dunes as per preference. Weddings, theme parties, and conferences can be organised. Money changer, travel desk and internet are the other facilities available. Car transfer from the railway station is arranged on request.
