We had stayed here 4 Nights from 14th May 2012. The pickup AC vehicle XYLO is ready for us before we reached at margao that is good sign. The droping service is very much good at any one of them. (Margao Railway Stn., Airport or Margao Bus Stn ) Full property is very clean and well managed and located at very peaceful location. The resort at very calm place and near about sernabatim beach (walking 5 min distances). The real check out time is 12:00 PM. We reached at 10:00 AM rather than the reception staff provide us pool side room no 237 which is best. I suggest that tourists take AP plan instead of MAP and CP because the food is very hygenic and best quality ever and other that there is some problem is that no other restaurant near about (Colva 3 KM). Swimming pool is very large, neat and clean(baby pool also there with only 2ft depth.). All staff is very supportive and very clam.(My good extra wishes to all restaurant staff to provide us very good service,) another good thing is that form 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM there is complimentary drink for all tourist. (alcoholic and non alcoholic) We take AP plan so there is Go karting(10 rounds) complimentary coupon provided. There is awesome exp. with good AC vehicle Innova transportation. One half day they provided for us that was really very nice. (Mahalaxmi Temple, Old Goa Chruch, Panjim Boat Cruise n Panjim Shopping). Housekeeping is very good. that team was very clam and so much careful. They also provide us 15 min head massage and Shoulder massage at Lifestyle Spa centre. The sernabatim beach is so near from this only 5 min away form main Gate. Finally we had great holiday at Baywatch Resort. Its too much more fun than your expection. Thank you so much to all.
Everything was fine there but the location was isolated. Staff behaviour was good. Restaurants were not available near to the hotel. Location of the hotel was fine and it was located at 30 minute distance from the railway station but it was located bit outside the city. I faced no problem to find this hotel. Food facility was available in the hotel and it was good. I had no issue about the varieties. Look of the hotel was up to the mark. Room was spacious, tidy and well maintained. All basic amenities were available like TV, AC, geyser, etc and they all were in working condition. I was able to see the pool view from my room. Washroom was also in clean condition. No problem during check-in and check-out facility. Swimming pool and other activities were available there and I did use swimming pool. They arranged cab facility for sightseeing trip but it was bit costly. Parking area was available there and it was well maintained. I visited there with my family in the month of August, 2014. Overall, my destination in Colva was value for money. I have one suggestion for other travellers that if they do not have own vehicle then they face bit convenience problem. I liked the ambiance very much of this hotel.
My stay at this hotel was virtuous as well as it was located near to the railway station and bus stop which was just half an hour journey. The staff at the hotel were sympathetic, respectful and supportive and the inner and outside appearance of the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were massive, hygienic and sterile but no view was seen from the room. The amenities like AC and geyser all were in operation condition. Food at the hotel was exceptional with lots of varieties in both veg and non-veg. No interruption found in reception and also there was a swimming pool activities organised by the hotel. This was a business trip along with my colleagues and the destination was value for money.
It was an annual vacation to de-stress and disconnect from the hectic world we spent the previous 11 months. Goa in Dec is something else. It is a different place altogether. The hotel is huge, with a breathtaking location, right on the calm and serene Sernabatim Beach. Absolutely brilliant in terms of amenities and rooms. Breakfast was a luxurious spread. Used the pool and spa. Food service to pool takes time thought the food is lip smacking. SPA interiors are quite shabby, at least the one which I got to. Highlight of my stay was the x'mas eve party at the pool, i enjoyed it from my room terrace though. Two advice - Firstly, though I had booked room a month in advance - I was being forced to take the ground floor room - had to ruffle a few feathers and waited for beyond an hour to get something on the upper floors. Front desk was not too helpful. The view is lovely from the top floors, noise reduction is also there. Secondly, we checked out on x'mas day as it was mandatory to pay for gala dinner which was much overpriced - more than the tariff itself - a bit of an overkill. I was there for 2 nights and 3 days and realized 75% of guests were foreign elderly who might be interested in the grand extravaganza. But the enterprising young Indians are sure to have an equally amazing time paying lesser elsewhere. I would have loved to experience the x'mas festivity - had it been worth its value. Otherwise a great stay!
The property is in south Goa, so yeah, reaching there can be time consuming. However, the layout is great with pool at the centre hogging the limelight. Secondly, location wise the best part is its proximity to the Colva beach, barely 200 odd metres to enjoy a personalised experience. Go for a walk, run, wade in the waters, enjoy a cup of tea or simply click selfies on the beach, it is your private moment. Morning hours is especially great fun. Upon return, chill out in the Po with Kingfisher Ultra Light Beer and your day is sorted. The property has an extension in the north side too, calagute beach. So, when there, you can tie up with them for a lunch in their own property. The food is good, but would have liked to see a bigger menu spread of seafood than the staple chicken getting served. The suite are well appointed and offers a comfortable stay with a small balcony for those romantics late evening or just looking at the distant horizon. Loved the activities arranged in the premises, offered a glimpse on Goa and its cultural essence. If you are on the look out for quiet retreat and a personalised beach experience, Baywatch Resort it is, at its charming best!
