Beas Kund is the origin of the River Beas. It is a popular site among Hindus, especially for the followers of Vyas, owing to the belief that Rishi Vyas used to take his bath in this Kund. A holy place, a dip in the Kund is believed to cure skin and other diseases.
Sheltered by an igloo like stone formation, the typical rocky terrain is devoid of vegetation. At the site, tourists can opt for trekking and camping. The Kund also serves as a base of climbing the Shitidhar, Friendship, Ladakhi and Hanuman Tibba peaks.
