Beena Residency is located at a 200 meter distance from Mookambika Temple. Rooms are above average. Food is also OK. They arrange pickup and drop faculties to nearby Byndoor/ Kundapura/ Udupi Railway stations. Though it is not a great hotel comparing hotels in general in India. It is definitely one of the best available option to stay in Kollur

We had gone to Kollur as a pilgrim and found the hotel Beena Residency ideally located and the place is comfortable. The staff was helpful in guiding us to the riverside and arranging for transport etc. The food was reasonable. The service was also good to make your stay nice and hassle free. We will go and stay here when we plan to visit this temple.

Our family of four stayed in Beena Residency in Jan. We found the staff very supportive, Food was tasty and Ambience good. Being temple town the facilities offered are top class. The proximity to temple makes the place all the more convenient. Our children felt comfortable and was visiting the temple alone and negotiating with the restaurant staff for the food they like and want. Also we were provided all information regarding the temple sites etc, thus making our darshan wonderful. Thus we had a wonderful experience in Kollur. I sincerely recommend Beena Residency to all who visit Kollur.

I have visited Mookambika temple on December 13. Beena residency is an ideal place to stay with economy rate. Walk able distance from temple. Hotel was well furnished and comfortable. Lift was also available in the house restaurant and room services was also there. I hired a jeep from there and went to kudajadhri. It took two hours journey time.

I was sorry for booking rooms at Beena Residency, Kollur. We occupied a/c deluxe. One double and one triple room in ground floor near by the restaurant. Double room was better than triple. Overall the rooms looked old and had a peculiar bad smell. TV was not working. The bathroom in triple room was so small, that one has to sit on the closet to close the door or to take the shower. There was a very small wash basin ( cant put a hand without touching sides ) and mirror without any lighting in its vicinity. A metal drain was attached to the roof and the noise of water flowing through disturbed our sleep too frequently. More over the disturbances from restaurant and kitchen kept us awake from 4 am and was so irritating. I don't know why is it called a deluxe room. Any way I was not happy. Next day we moved to guest house an ordinary, non a/c double room for one third the rent which was more comfortable. Later I found there are better hotels at Kollur for rent equal or lesser than that of Beena residency.

It was nice, but it felt that they have a rigid policy regarding adjustment of rooms. If it is a season period it is okey, but in the month of December even that time they can adjust one room for us with an extra bed they didn't do that for us. The atmosphere was nice, it has a lift which has a capacity of 4 person and only up to third floor. The rest we have to climb the stairs.

The visit to the temple town was spiritually rewarding, as if the goddess had called us over. despite the time of the year, it was rainy and perhaps the best weather to travel in a car. no crowds in end june and one could easily pay obeisance to the deity. The hotel where we stayed was BEENA RESIDENCY. though the ratings on net was high, i was aghast to know that despite a pre-paid booking and confirmation, they were unable to provide me two AC rooms. The rooms they finally provided me was not only leaking/having heavy seepage but also having a strong mushy smell due to damnpness. A sure shot recipe for kids to fall sick. The reception staff could not care less about the problem you were facing and would not budge. Only after calling up the manager did they offer another room, that too after 8 hrs. the food and services were otherwise were decent.
though the destination would be a YES YES in future but the hotel would be a strict NO NO!!!!!

This was our first visit to Kollur. And it was an excellent stay. The hotel is very near to Mookambika temple, only a few minutes walking distance. The rooms are very clean. The hotel staff are extremely co-operative. The rates are very cheap and the facilities are excellent. They also provide vehicles for sight seeing. The food was average.
